Finn and Poe plan a new adventure in a clip from LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation. Starting back in 1999, the LEGO Star Wars franchise has put out not just LEGO sets, but video games, shorts, specials, and series based on the Star Wars saga and franchise, but in LEGO format. Since Disney+ launched in 2019, the franchise has released a few specials In 2020, The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special saw Rey leaving her friends to get ready for Life Day, taking on an adventure to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. And in 2021, Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales, a Halloween season special, followed Poe, BB-8, and their new friend, Dean, as they explore Darth Vader’s castle on the planet of Mustafar.
This year, a LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation is coming, and the official Star Wars YouTube just dropped a new clip. In the featured scene, the Resistance crew of Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Chewbacca, BB-8, R2-D2, and C-3PO arrive at the luxurious Galactic Starcruiser for a vacation, where they are greeted by a hologram of Lando Calrissian. Finn and Poe are especially excited, and Poe begins listing off the itinerary he hopes to get through on the trip. Watch the full clip below:

Set to premiere on Disney+ on August 5, the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation special will give fans a fun adventure through the world of LEGO Star Wars, exploring freedom away from the Star Wars franchise canon with crossovers and surprising scenarios, all played out in lighthearted and funny ways. While viewers have joined the Star Wars characters in the LEGO world for the holidays and Halloween, now they will get to follow them on a summertime adventure. And it’s bound to be an entertaining one, especially with the reference to recently-opened Galactic Starcruiser hotel at Disney World.
