Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 Part 2 Trailer: PADRE Attacked By Returning Villain’s Zombie Army

A new trailer for Fear the Walking Dead season 8 part 2 showcases a returning villain sending a zombie army to attack PADRE. In the first half of the show’s final season, Madison and the rest of the core survivors took over PADRE, determined to turn it into a sanctuary for other survivors. However, a Fear the Walking Dead post-credits scene revealed someone who knows Madison was coming to find PADRE.

Now, The Walking Dead has revealed a new trailer for Fear the Walking Dead season 8 part 2, teasing the return of Troy Otto from season 3.

The trailer teases Troy as the final villain of the series, sending an army of zombies to PADRE for revenge against Madison and her group. Teasing plenty of action, it seems the final season of the show will be a harrowing end to The Walking Dead‘s first spinoff.

Why Troy Otto Is Fear The Walking Dead’s Perfect Final Villain

Troy was first introduced in Fear the Walking Dead season 3. Despite being a sadistic survivor conducting experiments on other people to study the Walker virus, Troy soon became friends with Madison’s son Nick due to their shared status as outcasts. However, after finding out Troy orchestrated a massive Walker herd to invade the Broke Jaw Ranch, Madison seemingly killed him with a hammer at the Gonzalez Dam.

Since Troy’s supposed death, the spinoff has centered on Morgan Jones, with Madison herself having been seemingly killed off in season 4. However, Madison’s return at the end of season 7 set the stage for a final season centered on the survivors introduced near the show’s start. Bringing Troy back as the final villain ultimately helps the series come full circle, as Fear the Walking Dead delivers a villain story it set up in its early years.

As Madison tries to make PADRE into a sustainable community for other survivors, Troy seems keen on destroying it with similar tactics he used at the Ranch. It’s unclear what kind of resources he now has, but it seems it’s enough to where he could destroy PADRE if Madison and her group can’t put a stop to him for good. With plenty of excitement still to come, Fear the Walking Dead is setting up an ending that will hopefully satisfy fans of its first few seasons.
