Fall Guys players can turn their bean mascots into lovely red pandas with a limited edition costume for Valentine’s Day. Even more skins and suits are rumored to be added to the party game soon with one of the most recent leaks hinting at a possible Fortnite crossover.
Discovered at the beginning of February, a bunch of Fortnite-inspired costumes was shared by a popular leaker on Twitter. According to the reveal, there are five new costumes in total named Llama, Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Bunny Brawler, and Ripley. The leaker guessed that the cosmetics in question might be added around Easter since the list includes Bunny Brawler – an already existing popular skin in Epic’s battle royale title. The discovery was made by datamining one of the latest Fall Guys updates, and given that every skin literally referenced Fortnite, there’s a good chance the leak is accurate.
Although the Valentine’s Day celebration is officially over, Fall Guys’ fans have time until February 16 to grab themselves a lovely festive skin. The bean costume in question is a red panda suit, which represents universal love considering how sweet and adorable the real pandas are. Sadly, the offer is not a free one, but acquiring the full costume won’t cost players a fortune, either. For just 1000 Kudos per piece, gamers can grab both the upper and the lower parts of the skin. The red panda costume was announced via a festive video on Twitter. In it, a random player, who probably represents the Fall Guys gaming community, is being visited by a huge bean mascot, most likely impersonating the game’s development team. The bean then proceeds to show the player several signs, each containing the phrase “I love you” in a different language. This affectionate demonstration ends up with a small present, a red panda plush toy, followed by genuinely joyful hugs.
Fall Guys has recently received a massive 3.5 mid-season update containing a plentiful of new content. The core addition was obviously a brand new level accompanied by 40+ variations of existing arenas. Included in the update were also new bean costumes, which are expected to appear in the game successively during the next few weeks. Some of the older skins returned to the in-game store, and lastly, Season 3.5 fixed some minor bugs and introduced quality-of-life improvements.
It’s really satisfying that Mediatonic, the studio behind Fall Guys, didn’t go for an obvious Cupid costume to treat fans on Valentine’s Day. Red pandas, on the other hand, fit just fine. They are being adored globally as these sweetest animals represent the purest love via their innocent looks and behavior. Moreover, the cause effectively raises awareness as red pandas are among the endangered species that can someday disappear completely if humans do not take measures to protect them.
