Emily is portrayed by Phoebe Dynevor, who is best known for her role as Daphne Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton. Dynevor has also been in the series Dickensian, Snatch, Younger, and Waterloo Road.

Alden Ehrenreich As Luke Edmunds

Luke Edmunds is also an analyst at One Crest Capital, and the fiancé of Emily. When Emily is promoted, Luke becomes her subordinate in the workplace, which affects their relationship. Luke is portrayed by Alden Ehrenreich, who is best known for his turn as a young Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Ehrenreich has also been in Hail, Caesar!, Blue Jasmine, Cocaine Bear, Beautiful Creatures, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, and the series Brave New World.

Campbell is the CEO of One Crest Capital; he promotes Emily to PM. Campbell is portrayed by Eddie Marsan, who is best known for his roles in The World’s End, 21 Grams, the HBO drama Ray Donovan, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Vice, Atomic Blonde, Sherlock Holmes and its sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Mission: Impossible III, The Illusionist, and The Disappearance of Alice Creed.

Sebastian de Souza as Rory – Rory is an analyst who works with Emily and Luke. Sebastian de Souza is best known for the series Skins, Hulu’s now-cancelled The Great, Medici, and Ophelia.

Geraldine Somerville as Emily’s mother – Emily’s mother is adamant about celebrating Emily’s engagement to Luke. Geraldine Somerville is best known for her role as Harry Potter’s mother Lily in the Harry Potter movie franchise. Somerville has also been in Gosford Park, My Week with Marilyn, the TV series Cracker, and Grace of Monaco.

Patrick Fischler as Robert Bynes – Robert is also an analyst at Emily and Luke’s hedge fund firm. Aside from his role in Fair Play, Patrick Fischler is best known for Mulholland Drive, American Fiction, Once Upon a Time, in which he played Isaac Heller, The Right Stuff, and the TV series Happy!.
