It’s no secret that Hitman: Agent 47 is shaping up to be the start of something bigger. While visiting the set of the film in Germany last year and months later chatting with producer Adrian Askarieh, it was clear that the hope for everyone involved and Twentieth Century Fox is that this reboot can spawn a new franchise and help open doors for the video game movie genre.
Star Rupert Friend (Homeland) plays 47 in this take and is signed on for multiple movies, and as we’ve learned, there are already ideas for a sequel in play. In fact, you’ll get at teaser of what’s to come if you stick around during the end credits of Hitman: Agent 47 where there will be a major reveal.

Sources tell us there’s a button sequence early during the end credits of Hitman: Agent 47 that features an iconic villain from the Hitman video game series, signalling a potential sequel already in the planning stages. That villain gamers will know as The Albino who was introduced in 2006’s Hitman: Blood Money. And this mid-credits tag won’t just be a vague tease – we’re told the identity of who’s playing this character will be revealed as well.
For a little background, in the video games (developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix), our bio-engineered super assassin (Agent 47) takes his contracts from an organization known as The Agency and throughout the series, encounters several other characters with similar extraordinary skill sets and abilities, some of whom are clones from a rival organization of assassins. That’s where The Albino (real name: Mark Parchezzi III) comes in since he’s the closest equal to 47 in almost every way and is a clone himself too, one who just so happens to dress in almost the exact opposite colors as 47.
From the official Hitman: Agent 47 plot synopsis (below) we know many story elements from the games have been adapted for the film, from the cloning to the idea of another organization trying to reproduce the process by which 47 was created in order to develop and control their own super assassins. In the latest trailer, it’s revealed that other characters have been enhanced/created as well which helps set the stage for the introduction of The Albino.
HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones — endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
