Screen Rant is excited to exclusively announce the print release of SubZero, the hit series from Webtoon in partnership with Oni Press. Created by Junepurr, the romance fantasy epic has over 375 million reads and over three million subscribers. Fans of the webcomic will be able to add this series to their print collections this Fall.
SubZero began release on Webtoon in 2018. Clove, the series’ protagonist, was named Favorite Hero in the Fan Favorite Awards category at the 2020 Ringo Awards. The story follows Clove, princess of the Azure Clan, as she marries Kyro, the Crimson Clan’s prince. The two clans have been at war with each other and both want to end the conflict.
Currently, the series has 180 episodes spanning three seasons. It began a brief hiatus in October 2023 but is slated to return this month. It is the debut work of creator Junepurr.

Oni Press & Webtoon Bring SubZero To Print
Coming in September from Oni Press, SubZero Vol. 1 will feature a new cover from Junepurr. This volume collects episodes 0-25 and will also include never-before-published back matter material. The volume will not only be a great pick-up for fans of the series but also serve as an introduction for new readers, providing the perfect jumping-on point. The synopsis is as follows:

WEBTOON Offerings Continue To Expand Beyond The Digital Space
SubZero is the latest Webtoon series to receive a print publication. It has been preceded by Lore Olympus, Vixen: NYC, Wayne Family Adventures, True Beauty, Age Matters, Freaking Romance, and Cursed Princess Club, among others. Webtoon has been increasing its print offerings significantly over the last few years, improving its reader reach and bringing award-winning comics to fans.
