Everything We Know About Love Is Blind Season 4

Love Is Blind season 3 may have just ended, but there’s already a lot of information out there about the future Love Is Blind season 4. Since Love Is Blind made its debut in 2020, Netflix has raked in millions of viewers with the show’s copious amounts of drama and entertainment. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey from the start, over a dozen couples have got engaged throughout the first three seasons of Love Is Blind, although only a handful remain today.

After a tumultuous four-week journey, Love Is Blind season 3 concluded in early November with two couples tying the knot: Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux, and Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton. While fan favorites Raven Ross and SK Alagbada recently split despite not getting married, and Zanab Jaffrey and Cole Barnett’s dramatic separation has been widely criticized, fans of the series are already interested in Love Is Blind season 4. Although Netflix hasn’t released any official details about Love Is Blind season 4, which was announced in early 2022, several clues point to its upcoming location, release date, and cast.

Love Is Blind Season 4 Has Already Been Filmed

Love Is Blind has a tight film schedule which is completed in roughly six weeks; the initial 30 contestants spend a week separated in pods, and couples who get engaged spend another four weeks together before their big day. In an interview with Women’s Health in October, Nick revealed that Love Is Blind seasons 4 and 5 have already been filmed and are in post-production. Each Love Is Blind season takes place in a different city (Love Is Blind season 3 took place in Dallas, TX), and based on a Capitol Hill Seattle report from May, there’s a good chance Love Is Blind season 4 was filmed in Seattle, WA.

Love Is Blind Season 4 Will Most Likely Premiere In 2023

Based on the pattern Netflix has created for Love Is Blind, there’s a high possibility that Love Is Blind season 4 will air in early 2023. Love Is Blind seasons 1 and 2 were released in February 2020 and February 2021, respectively, while Love Is Blind season 3 premiered this past October. Since Love Is Blind season 3 and its dramatic reunion were filmed directly after Love Is Blind season 2 wrapped, it appears that Netflix is interested in producing two Love Is Blind seasons a year: one in the winter, and one in the fall. Unfortunately for the future cast members of Love Is Blind season 4, however, this means that they have to keep their relationship statuses under wraps for about a year.

Love Is Blind Season 4 Will Feature More Diversity

Speaking of contestants, viewers have routinely criticized Netflix’s decision to cast people within the same physical demographic since Love Is Blind season 1 premiered. Although many personalities have been showcased, fans have demanded that future Love Is Blind seasons include more diversity and inclusion. Although viewers have similarly asked for Love Is Blind to replace Nick and Vanessa as hosts, Nick told Women’s Health, “There is quite a bit of diversity in the casting,” and continued, “I do think that they’ve done a good job of trying to cast diversely and will continue to. You’ll see that in [seasons four] and five.” Although Love Is Blind has been criticized as a failed social experiment, Netflix has a chance to change viewers minds when they release Love Is Blind season 4.
