The model Chaney has fully embraced her role as Kanye’s new muse after he moved on from actress, Julia Fox. As Kanye continues on with his divorce from Kim, the rap/fashion mogul is making sure that there is always a pretty woman by his side. This time around, Chaney is Kanye’s new leading lady, and she is receiving extra media attention.
Since Kim filed for divorce from Kanye last February, the Yeezy founder has been spotted with a series of models. He was first linked to the Russian model, Irina Shayk. The pair enjoyed a short-lived fling that ended around the start of last summer. After getting back on friendly terms with future The Kardashians star Kim, who is dating Pete Davidson, for the sake of their kids, Kanye went on to date 22-year-old model Vinetria Chubbs for a few weeks. However, once Kim went public with Pete, Kanye started professing his love for Kim, as well as his desire to repair their marriage. While making all of the public pleas, Kanye was also striking up a romance with Uncut Gems star Julia Fox. After wining and dining the model with lavish dinner dates, and giving Birkin bags to her and her friends, Kanye moved on. He is now dating Chaney.
Sources who claim to be close to Kanye say that he isn’t exclusive with Chaney, and was only drawn to her because of her striking resemblance to Kim. “She appears to be a muse, but it also depends on who you ask,” a source told Page Six, adding, “She’s loving her role.” Kim lookalike Chaney has a degree in elementary education from the University of Delaware and is currently pursuing her Master’s in counseling at Wilmington University. Chaney makes money working as the Chief Operating Officer of First State Behavioral Health. A lover of fashion, Chaney has already sported a few pieces that call to mind Kim’s style and persona. She even donned a pair of Kanye’s new Balenciaga boots, cementing her image as a Kim K. doppelganger.
With over 300,000 Instagram followers, Chaney has a strong fanbase of celebrity men who are in awe of her looks. Stars like Diddy, DJ Khaled, and T.I. all follow Chaney and possibly admire more than her resemblance to The Kardashians cast member Kim. However, most fans comment on her strong resemblance to Kim. While Julia’s fashion choices are compared to Kim’s, Chaney face, body, and wardrobe get compared to the SKIMS founder. Everything from her dark hair to her clothes to her curvy figure remind people of Kim.
Chaney is one of the first of Kanye’s muses to receive an actual post on his Instagram. The “Stronger” rapper reposted a paparazzi shot of the pair and captioned it with a black heart. The move appeared to confirm Kanye’s current interest in Chaney. However, considering all Kanye has done to get Kim back, or break up her ongoing romance with SNL‘s Pete, fans are still skeptical about Kanye’s intentions with Chaney. He is clearly still getting over Kim and going through a divorce while co-parenting four children. Kanye is enjoying his time dating around but doesn’t appear to want to settle down.
