Over the years, the final NFL game of the season has grown into an expansive entertainment event that goes beyond the sport of football, and Super Bowl 2024 will be no different when it comes to the release of major movie and TV show trailers. Airing February 11th, Super Bowl LVIII is set to feature a handful of trailers for highly-anticipated 2024 titles, including those highlighting upcoming movies from studios such as Disney, Paramount, and Universal. A few TV show trailers are expected to be thrown into the mix.
While high-profile studios are well-represented during Super Bowl 2024, not every major studio plans to be involved this year. After The Flash‘s record-breaking Super Bowl trailer in 2023, Warner Bros. is sitting out 2024. The same can be said for Sony and streaming platforms like Netflix, but there are still plenty of popular franchises and long-awaited sequels scheduled to air footage. The first trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One, which can be seen above in full, debuted a few days ago, but Paramount released a special shortened version of the footage for Super Bowl 2024. Though John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place 3 is still set for 2024, Day One will go back to the very beginning of the alien invasion, following a new set of characters in New York City. Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Alex Wolff are set to lead Day One‘s cast, with Djimon Hounsou returning as the Man on the Island from A Quiet Place 2.
