Warning: Spoilers ahead for Netflix’s All the Bright Places.

Netflix’s All the Bright Places soundtrack features a wide range of songs to match the hopeful, yet tragic vibe of the film. The romantic drama starring Elle Fanning and Justice Smith is based on the YA novel of the same name by Jennifer Niven. The adaptation has a lengthy soundtrack, ranging from emotional ballads to indie tunes.

All the Bright Places follows Violet (Fanning), a teenager struggling to cope after the death of her older sister who died in a car accident. She then meets Finch (Smith), a classmate who tries to get her out of her shell by using a school project. Violet then learns that Finch is suffering from his own demons. As the pair grow closer, they find that there can be hope during dark times, but everyone carries some type of secret.

Before the film dropped on Netflix, the official trailer featured the song “Where Do I Go From Here?” by the band named A Year On Earth. The story is very emotional so it makes sense that there are a few heart-wrenching songs. Aside from the songs featured in All the Bright Places, the movie contains a beautiful instrumental score by Keegan DeWitt. Here’s a list of every song on the All the Bright Places soundtrack.

As always, Netflix movies and TV shows tend to be filled with a wide variety of songs on their soundtracks. Some releases are even known for the music in them, like 13 Reasons Why, for example. Of course, All the Bright Places is certainly different, but as noted with the above selection, the soundtrack contains songs for every person.
