Every New Weapon In Genshin Impact 3.0

Every New Weapon In Genshin Impact 3.0

With the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.0 update comes seven new weapons for players to use. Weapons in Genshin Impact are a huge part of character building and often become just as integral as Artifacts or Constellations. With 3.0 bringing the new Dendro element into the game, it stands to reason new weapons that benefit from using it would need to exist. Even if the only two Dendro characters coming in 3.0, Tighnari and Collei, are bow users, the new reactions coming from Dendro will make them useful to some new weapons.

As the popular Genshin Impact prepares for its new 3.0 launch, developer HoYoverse showcased some new features coming to the game in a recent live stream. The marquee additions are the region of Sumeru, the Dendro element, three playable characters, new story quests, events, two new Artifact sets, and seven new weapons. The first three additions will most likely be the most popular in the community, but the new Artifacts and weapons will play a large part in build crafting and combat meta for the future of the game.

Of the seven new weapons being introduced in 3.0, five of them are craftable 4-Stars. These five weapons are the Sword Sapwood Blade, Claymore Forest Regalia, Polearm Moonpiercer, Catalyst Fruit Of Fulfillment, and Bow King’s Squire. These five weapons have effects based on using Elemental Reactions, Bursts, and Skills, often specifically the use of newly revealed Dendro reactions. This set of weapons seems to focus on Elemental Mastery, as the perks for the Sword, Claymore, Catalyst, and Bow all involve boosting it. On the other hand, the Moonpiercer Polearm boosts the Attack of the character using it. An interesting thing to note is that the effects of the Sword, Claymore, Polearm, and Catalyst can all be activated even if that character is not in use, making them options for support characters.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Brings New 5-Star Bow

The last two weapons are the Bows End of the Line and Hunter’s Path, and at first glance, both bows seem to have a good chance of becoming some of the best weapons in Genshin Impact. End of the Line is a 4-Star Bow that uses the body of a now-extinct fish as its frame. This Bow will give players the new Flowrider buff after using an elemental skill. With the buff effect, the following three attacks will deal 80% Attack as an area of effect. Players will want to use this buff quickly as it will disappear after 15 seconds and can only be triggered every 12 seconds.

Lastly, the new 5-Star Bow Hunter’s Path has a fantastical design and outright gives a 16% bonus to any Elemental Damage. The real damage from this Bow comes from its buff Tireless Hunt, which will be triggered after hitting a charged attack. After that, players have 10 seconds or 12 charged attacks to use the buff, which will increase all charged attacks by 160% of the characters’ Elemental Mastery. Players who wish to pull on the weapon banner for this bow are also in luck: three of the playable characters on Genshin Impact’s 3.0 banners are bow users. However, it is crucial that a character using this Bow has good CRIT stats and a high Elemental Mastery to maximize its effects.

Overall these seven weapons would appear to be powerful additions to the game, giving options to both free-to-play and paid players who wish to improve their arsenal. While the craftable weapons focus on the new reactions Dendro will bring, the 5-Star bows benefit from specific play styles, as is often the case with the chase weapons in Genshin Impact. When players dive into all that is coming in the 3.0 update of Genshin Impact, keeping a lookout for these weapons could significantly improve their experience adapting to the inclusion of Dendro and more characters.
