Apple’s iPad 10 features improved performance, plenty of new features and a bunch of color options. Apple first announced the iPad in 2010 before expanding the range with the iPad mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro. The devices originally ran iOS – the same operating system that runs on the iPhones – before switching to iPadOS, which is a version of iOS optimized for large-screen devices. iPads remain the largest-selling tablets in the world, with about a third of the global market share ahead of brands like Samsung, Lenovo, and others.
Alongside the affordable iPad, Apple also announced the all-new iPad Pro with the M2 chip that also powers the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro launched earlier this year. The new iPad Pro will be available in two screen sizes – 12.9-inch and 11-inch. As for the 10th-gen iPad, it features a 10.9-inch display with a 2,360 × 1,640 resolution. It features a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and comes in 64GB and 256GB configurations. The iPad 10 also comes with a USB-C port and is compatible with the Magic Keyboard Folio and first-gen Apple Pencil.
As explained by Apple, the new iPad 10 comes in four different color options – blue, pink, yellow, and silver. The base iPad also features a new design thanks to the Touch ID sensor that has been moved from under the display to the power button at the top, allowing for thinner bezels. The iPad 10 is powered by the two-year-old A14 Bionic chip that was originally seen in the iPhone 12 lineup. Apple is also bringing 5G connectivity to the base iPad lineup for the first time, provided users pick up the more expensive cellular option.
iPad 10 Color Options
While color is often a matter of personal preference, choosing the best option also depends on how best a user wants the device to represent them and their personality. Those who want a subtle option can opt for the silver color, which has been a classic color for iPhones and iPads through the generations. However, that also makes it a tad boring, meaning it’s not the best option for people who want more pizazz from their gadgets.
More adventurous users have three options to choose from. The blue color is also seen on the iPad Air 5, and is a great choice for those who want character from their iPad but still want to keep things muted. The yellow and pink colors are far more vibrant, and are ideal for those who want a bolder choice. They’re also great options for parents to give to their kids. Irrespective of which iPad 10 color a user chooses, the bezels around the display remain black, which means those who use the iPad with a case might not be able to show off their chosen color. To sum up, while the silver and blue iPad 10 colors are likely to appeal to the majority of users, the choice ultimately comes down to a user’s personality and taste.
