Every Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro Color You Can Buy (And Which Is Best)

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 series not only comes in different versions and sizes but is also available in multiple color options. While a smartwatch’s primary function is to keep track of the user’s health, it can also serve as a fashion accessory that complements the wearer’s style. And one of the ways to do this is by choosing the right color option.

Samsung’s new smartwatch comes in standard and Pro models. The latter is the first to carry the “Pro” suffix in the Galaxy Watch series and is targeted at those who spend more time outdoors and need a watch that’s a bit more rugged. There is no Classic model this year, but Samsung is keeping the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for those who still want it.

The Galaxy Watch 5 is available in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm – and each size comes in three colors each. The 40mm version, which has a 1.2-inch display, is available in Graphite, Silver, and Pink Gold. On the other hand, the 44mm version with its larger 1.4-inch screen can be purchased in Graphite, Sapphire, and Silver. All six have the same black bezel around the display, but their aluminum armor case is of a different color. For example, the Pink Gold colorway has a Gold case and a Pink Gold strap while the Silver variant has a Silver case and a White strap. The Sapphire colorway has a Blue case and matching strap.

Samsung Lets Users Customize Their Watch

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is limited a single 45mm size and two colors – Black Titanium and Gray Titanium. The former has a Black Titanium case and a matching strap while the latter has a Gray Titanium case and a Gray strap of a slightly darker shade. While there aren’t many color options to choose from, Samsung allows buyers to customize their smartwatch at checkout. Apart from being able to choose the size and the color (of the case), users will also get to choose what type and color of strap should be attached. Unfortunately, buyers can’t choose a color for the case that’s different from the default ones.

The strap options range from the D-Buckle Sport band that is the default with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to a Hybrid Leather strap to a Global Goals strap that’s made from recycled materials. There are several combinations to choose from at the checkout page or from the Bespoke Studio page. It is important to note that the choice of strap will determine the final price at checkout. For example, the Galaxy Watch 5 starts at $279 with the default sport strap, but switching to a different strap such as a D-Buckle Sport strap will result in the price jumping to $319.

Choosing the right color will be based on a user’s personal preference, but for those who find it hard to make a choice when they are presented with too many options, Graphite (Gray) is the safest option. Like black, this color will match most outfits. Another color worth considering is Sapphire (Blue). Exclusive to the 44mm Galaxy Watch 5, it isn’t as muted as Graphite but adds a splash of color without being too flashy.
