Every Event In Genshin Impact 3.6

Genshin Impact 3.6’s events are many, and a great opportunity for players to farm resources and Primogems. With every new version of the game, developer HoYoverse brings in limited-time events that players can partake in with the ultimate objective of gathering rewards. The next update will be no different, and will actually feature a festival called Akademiya Extravaganza, which will host various activities.

Of course, Genshin Impact 3.6’s events are not limited to those of the larger event. In fact, one smaller event will promote the addition of a whole new area to the Sumeru region, northeast of the Desert of Hadramaveth. In addition to that, players will also have another Genshin Impact Trial event, as well as one that will boost their rewards to further help build the characters they get throughout the patch’s duration.

Genshin Impact 3.6’s Events Will Be Good For Farming

Every Event In Genshin Impact 3.6

As announced by HoYoverse in Genshin Impact 3.6’s livestream through the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel, the next version of the game should have many different events for players to participate in. With each one of them, they will be able to gather valuable resources, including character and weapon enhancement materials, Mora, and the coveted Primogems that help them acquire more Wishes. Throughout the update’s planned six-week schedule in Genshin Impact, players will likely be having extensive farming sessions through events in between their dives into the new story content, playable characters, region, weekly and world bosses, and even Hilichurl types added with Version 3.6.

Genshin Impact 3.6’s Main Event Is Akademiya Extravaganza

Cyno stands to the left, Tighnari in the middle, and Paimon floats next to the Traveler, on the right. All of them are faced towards the camera, looking at Layla, whose back is featured in the image. They are gathered in a desert area of Sumeru.

The main event in Genshin Impact 3.6 is the Akademiya Extravaganza. As the name suggests, this event is not only tied to the Sumeru region, but the Akademiya itself. Essentially, players will participate in various competitions along with the Six Darshans of the Akademiya and their respective schools of thought. As such, the main interaction should occur with their representatives: Layla (Rtawahist), Kaveh (Kshahrewar), Cyno (Spantamad), Faruzan (Haravatat), Tighnari (Amurta), and a sixth and unknown character from the Vahamana school that has yet to be confirmed. In the official trailer, Wanderer is seen battling the scholars, but it is uncertain if he will be a part of the Akademiya Extravaganza.

Genshin Impact 3.6’s main event will be divided into two main instances: Interdarshan Championship and Wisdom Gala. In the Interdarshan Championship, each school will use its representatives to participate in competing activities. This will likely be the main story part behind the event itself, gradually developing the narrative as the story arcs unlock after a few days. Wisdom Gala, on the other hand, is a mix of six mini-games prepared by the Six Darshans of the Akademiya. These activities will be the ones that players will be actively participating in for point progression and their respective rewards.

Gathering of Stars is Rtawahist’s mini-game in Genshin Impact 3.6’s event, Akademiya Extravaganza. It consists of a puzzle alignment game, in which players need to move a few stars around an instrument to the appropriate position and height to form a constellation. Project Connectivity represents Kshahrewar’s school of thought and is focused on architectural design. In it, players will need to use as few housing resources as possible to make a traversable path from point A to point B. It will then be put to the test by inserting the Traveler in the constructed domain and see if they can actually go from point A to point B.

Vahamana’s mini-game in Genshin Impact 3.6’s main event is called Antiquity Hunt. As the name suggests, players will need to find hidden relics across Sumeru in Genshin Impact. For this, they use a few tools, that need to be charged up to adequately show the location of the relics. Additionally, they will need to clear out enemy presences that may disrupt the relic-hunting session. In Truth’s Steps moves away from combat and exploration and into critical thinking. The mini-game prepared by the Haravatat will see players uncovering the truth behind a few stories by analyzing details and asking questions to obtain helpful answers.

Concocted Reation is Spantamad’s mini-game for the festival. In this activity, players will need to choose enemy buffs and character buffs to face off against a group of opponents and beat them within a time limit. Ultimately, the chosen buffs will have the largest impact on players’ performances on the field. The last mini-game in Genshin Impact 3.6’s main event is Mimetic Replication, prepared by the Amurta school. Here, players will control animals to complete objectives and earn ratings. The one showcased by HoYoverse was the Weasel, which had to collect coins. The other two are a Shroomboar and a Fish, though their respective challenges have not been revealed.

This Genshin Impact 3.6 event is the one that offers the most rewards altogether. By participating in the various activities across Akademiya Extravaganza’s limited-time duration and gathering points, players can get Crown of Insight, other Talent Level-Up Materials, Character EXP Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Mora, and Primogems. The ultimate prize for it, however, is a free copy of Faruzan. For players that do not own her, they will be able to add her to their roster, and for those who already possess her, they will increase her Constellation level.

Genshin Impact 3.6’s Event Fulminating Sandstorm Hunts Wenuts

Although Akademiya Extravaganza is the largest event in Genshin Impact 3.6, there is still more planned for the version. Fulminating Sandstorm will see players helping researchers in the Sumeru desert by taking out threats. The main concept is using the new tool, called the Wenutslayer Cannon, to kill Wenuts. Aside from the sand serpents themselves, players will also have to face different opponents, such as Hilichurls, to get control of the Wenutslayer cannon. The event’s rewards include Primogems, Weapon Ascension Material, Character EXP Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora.

Genshin Impact 3.6’s Brewing Developments Is A Trial Event

In the trial event in Genshin Impact 3.6, Brewing Developments, players will need to build team comps – with the opportunity of using trial characters – to defeat enemies. The main difference is the presence of brews, which offer various effects and can help their overall on-field performances. As shown by HoYoverse, there will be four different challenges and each one will focus on a few combat mechanics – the first challenge, Thundergrass Resonance, should see players utilize Hyperbloom reactions as often as possible for increased damage. By participating in it, they can get Primogems, Talent Level-Up Materials, Character EXP Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora.

Genshin Impact 3.6’s The Recollector’s Path Grants A New Pet (Gadget)

Players will have the opportunity to grab a new Gadget that acts like a flying pet in Genshin Impact 3.6’s event called The Recollector’s Path. In the new area in Sumeru, they will encounter a flying creature of the Pari species, called Sorush. Their goal will be to control the creature across six different trials, which include repelling opponents and destroying their supplies. Although players can get Primogems, Weapon Ascension Materials, Character EXP Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora from participating, the main reward should be the Sorush Gadget.

Overflowing Mastery Wraps Up Genshin Impact 3.6’s Events

Genshin Impact's Yelan poses to the right with three differente Philosophy-tiered Talent Level-up Materials to the left with yellow backlight behind each one. Blurred-out in the background is a Ley Line tree from a Domain of Blessing.

Lastly, the Overflowing Mastery event in Genshin Impact should return near the end of the version. This type of event, which doubles the player’s drops from specific Domains up to three times a day, usually happens in the last weeks of an update, so it should be the last of Genshin Impact 3.6’s events. Aside from the doubled drop of Talent Level-Up Material, there are likely no other planned rewards for this event.
