Percy Jackson and the Olympians‘ Percy has united with an original cast member from the movies. The new Disney+ show, which premiered in December 2023 and has been renewed for season 2, is adapted from the Rick Riordan book series of the same name and stars Walker Scobell as Poseidon’s son Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Athena’s daughter Annabeth, and Aryan Simhadri as the satyr Grover. Previously, the novels were adapted into two movies, The Lightning Thief in 2010 and Sea of Monsters in 2013, starring Logan Lerman as Percy, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth, and Brandon T. Jackson as Grover.
On Instagram, Disney+ shared a post from a photo shoot with both Walker Scobell and Logan Lerman. Check it out below:
The image comes with the caption “twin, where have you been[?]” referencing a popular TikTok sound bite. The post doesn’t contain any information about the forthcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 or reveal whether Lerman and Scobell will share the screen beyond this photo opportunity.
More to come…
