Elden Ring: How To Get The Crucible Tree Armor

Elden Ring: How To Get The Crucible Tree Armor

The Crucible Tree Set is one of the best sets of heavy armor that can be obtained in Elden Ring, and it’s perfect for players that may opt for a more defensive playstyle. Armor can make or break any character build in Elden Ring since the Tarnished must worry about defending against both physical and magical attacks. Even with those two broad categories, players must concern themselves with different types of damage negation, and the Crucible Tree Set offers impressive resistance against all types of attacks.

Though the Crucible Treet Set has impressive magical and physical defenses, it definitely caters towards certain character builds such as a Warrior, Hero, or Vagabond in Elden Ring. Any Strength-focused character will be able to make the most of this armor set, which consists of a helm, chest armor, gauntlets, and leg armor. Fortunately, all four pieces can be retrieved from the same chest, but not without first defeating the Crucible Knight, Siluria.

Crucible Knight Siluria is one of the very few normal-sized bosses in Elden Ring, and players will find the knight using the armor themselves. While the knight performs quick and heavy attacks, they don’t have as much health as some of the other bosses in the game. Additionally, Crucible Knight Siluria is an optional boss that doesn’t need to be defeated in order to progress in Elden Ring, though leveling up before facing the night in Deeproot Depths region is a better decision than rushing into the fight.

If all four Crucible Tree Set pieces are worn, the total damage increase is 15% thanks to the buffs stacking multiplicatively. Additionally, some of the strongest traits of the armor set are its 120 Immunity and 157 Robustness, making it the perfect armor to wear when facing opponents that specialize in applying status effects.
