Elden Ring: How To Get Envoy’s Horn, Long Horn, & Greathorn

Elden Ring: How To Get Envoy’s Horn, Long Horn, & Greathorn

Three of the most unique weapons that players can get in Elden Ring are the Envoy’s Horn, Long Horn, and Greathorn. The Envoy’s Horn weapons all have a variation of the Oracular Bubble weapon skill that uses magic to produce damaging bubbles for devastating ranged attacks. The main differences between the three Envoy Horns are their weapon type, the requirements to use them, and their individual weapon skill in Elden Ring. The horns can, however, all be obtained through the same enemies.

The Envoy Greathorn is a Colossal Weapon, putting it in the same category as the Prelate’s Inferno Crozier in Elden Ring. The Envoy’s Horn and Long Horn are both classified as Hammers and Warhammers, respectively, and all three weapons require different levels of Strength, Dexterity, and Faith in order to use them. Envoy’s Horn is the lightest of the three weapons and requires the least amount of stat prerequisites, while the Greathorn is the heaviest and requires substantially larger Strength and Faith stats. Conversely, the Long Horn requires less Dexterity to use than either of the other two weapons, but it still requires higher Strength and Faith stats than the other two horns.

Although none of these weapons can be infused with any Ashes of War in Elden Ring, each of the three Envoy Horns has its own bubble magic weapon skill that varies slightly from one another:

  • Envoy’s Horn (Oracular Bubble): Blow on the horn to release a magic bubble that floats through the air towards the target.
  • Envoy’s Long Horn (Bubble Shower): Blow on the horn to release a spume of bubbles that float over the target and explode overhead.
  • Envoy’s Greathorn (Great Oracular Bubble): Blow on the horn to release a large bubble projectile that moves forward until it explodes. This weapon skill also requires 25 Intelligence and 18 Arcane to use.

The three types of Envoy Horns are all random drops that can be earned from defeating different types of Oracle Envoys in Leyndell Royal Captial and Miquella’s Galigtree locations. These areas can only be reached by players who have gathered two Great Runes in Elden Ring or by following the questline with Ranni the Witch. Both the Oracle Envoys and Large Oracle Envoys can be found in both of the locations, while Giant Oracle Envoy can only be found at Miquella’s Galigtree.

Each of these enemies wields the weapon it can drop once players have defeated it, but it isn’t a guaranteed drop. Players will need higher Arcane or items that increase item discovery in order to have a better chance of earning any of the Envoy Horns in Elden Ring. Additionally, each Envoy enemy will also use their weapon’s bubble skill at range.

Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
