Azur’s Glintstone Staff is a powerful spellcasting weapon in Elden Ring that provides a reduction in Sorcery casting time at the cost of additional FP consumption. While it may not scale with the Intelligence Stat as high as Lusat’s Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring, the primary purpose of wielding Azur’s Glintstone Staff is to cast spells in quick succession. In other words, mages should choose the Azur’s Glintstone Staff if they favor speed over damage capacity.
While Azur’s Armor Set is found in the same location as his Comet Azur Sorcery Spell, his Glintstone Staff is hidden within the Raya Lucaria Academy. To reach the weapon, Tarnished must stray from the main passageways and complete a platforming challenge along a secret route on the academy’s rooftops. This canopy trail is also the same path the player must take if they wish to acquire the second Glintstone Key for Sorcerer Thops.
To obtain Azur’s Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring, Tarnished must find a way to the tower west of the Church of the Cuckoo within Raya Lucaria. Starting from the Site of Grace in the Debate Parlor, they must head outside in the northern courtyard. They should travel to the left side and walk up the rubble to the stairway guarded by two Raya Lucaria Sorcerers. While the sluggish footmen shouldn’t be too much of a threat, it would be a good idea to take out these Sorcerers before moving on.
Where To Find Azur’s Glintstone Staff
To the left of the Sorcerer duo in the academy courtyard, Tarnished can jump over the railing to access a stairwell guarded by another mage. they should turn left around the corner to find a secret pathway across the roof to a ladder. they must ascend the ladder but be cautious of the multi-armed soldiers nearby. From here, players must make their way across several more rooftops with patrolling hostiles. Finally, they will arrive at Elden Ring‘s Church of the Cuckoo, where they enter one of the open windows to drop down onto the chandeliers below.
Underneath the chandeliers, Tarnished can fall onto an overpass connecting the two upper floors of the church. On the west wing, players can find the Shattering Crystal Sorcery. However, the east wing leads to the walkway connected to the tower with the staff. A hostile humanoid armed with fire arrows and a saber will be guarding the entrance. Once players defeat the enemy and enter the chamber at the end of the runway, they will find Azur’s Glintstone Staff next to a giant crystal formation in the center of this secret room in Elden Ring.
