Possibly one of the most fashionable mage outfits in Elden Ring is Alberich’s Set, a collection of armor pieces found within the Royal Capital. Alberich’s Set is one of the rare spellcaster armor sets that comes complete with a Hat, Robe, Bracers, and Trousers. To acquire this cool-looking outfit, Tarnished must first make their way to the mid and somewhat late-game region of Leyndell in Elden Ring.
Leyndell is located in the northern half of the continent, east of the Atlus Plateau and northeast of Liurnia of the Lakes. Naturally, Tarnished must progress through Limgrave, Liurnia, and the Atlus Plateau to reach this high-level region. While obtaining Alberich’s Set does not require any boss or elite mob fights, the Royal Capital is extremely dangerous for low-level adventurers. Accordingly, Tarnished are highly advised to be at least Level 80 or higher before entering the Capital’s walls. Nonetheless, there are two primary ways to get into Leyndell.
To enter Leyndell, Royal Capital, in Elden Ring, players must defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel, an incredibly challenging Field Boss that guards the overpass to the northern Capital Rampart. This method also requires Tarnished to advance through the previous regions. On the other hand, adventurers can utilize a shortcut in southern Limgrave. Visit the Tower of Return near the southwestern coast of the Weeping Peninsula. At the top of the lookout, the protagonist will discover a Transporter Trap Chest that will teleport Tarnished to the Divine Bridge in Leyndell.
Alberich’s Set Location In Elden Ring
For clarification, the player can take a somewhat lengthy but straightforward route to the mage armor set by starting from the Site of Grace within Leyndell’s Lower Capital Church. Therefore, to get Alberich’s Set in Elden Ring, Tarnished must exit the Capital Church and drop into the nearby sewer tunnel on the right. Head down the underpass and take a right into a room with a ladder. The path along the way will have several enemy mobs, but if adventurers sprint without stopping, they will not have any trouble avoiding confrontation. After ascending the ladder, climb up the wing of the giant fallen dragon in Elden Ring to find another ladder leading to a small staircase.
Run past the knight guarding the top of the stairwell and be wary of the ambush in the next building. Dash and roll through and jump off the railing on the right to the snowman-shaped enemy below. Be mindful of the archer sniper to the far left that can deal massive damage. Tarnished can use the lever behind them for another entry point for later. Next, jump down again and swiftly enter the Fortified Manor in the west. The player will likely recognize this place as the arena where they fought Mad Tongue Alberich within Elden Ring‘s Roundtable Hold. Walk to the corpse in the very back of the room and loot it to obtain Alberich’s Set.
