Eddie Brock is Going To Kill Carnage – WITHOUT Venom

Eddie Brock is Going To Kill Carnage – WITHOUT Venom

In the Venom comic series, Eddie Brock has decided it’s time to put an end to the world’s worst symbiote — and the darkest mark on the legacy of Venom — once and for all. And to do it, he’s going to need guns. Lots of guns.

The rollercoaster of Eddie Brock’s life has picked up speed in recent month, having been reunited with his symbiote Other, discovering the existence of his son, Dylan, facing and defeating Carnage, and most recently being invited to join The Avengers. But Eddie may also be the most knowledgable person in Marvel’s universe when it comes to symbiotes. So when his victory in Absolute Carnage required him to consume Carnage, it was only a matter of time until that evil started whispering in the corners of Eddie’s mind. But if he knows where to find Carnage, he’s one step closer to killing it. But that is a job for “Venom Island.” And the first preview pages from Marvel confirm it’s Eddie vs. Carnage: one man minus a symbiote, one symbiote minus its host. Eddie’s first step? Firepower.

The showdown officially began in Venom #21, with Eddie counting on his own symbiote Other to keep Carnage at bay as long as possible. The Other did its best, but wound up overrun by Carnage before the whole gaggle crash-landed on “Isla de Huesos. The Island of Bones… I left my paradise to stop him when he went on his first rampage across New York. And now we return. To burn every atom of him off the face of the Earth.” The story picks up from there, with Eddie revealing he has more of a plan than readers might expect. Take a look:
