The songs and dance styles for the Dancing With The Stars season 31 semifinals have been revealed. Only six couples remain on DWTS after a double elimination on ’90s Night sent home Heidi D’Amelio and Vinny Guadagnino. That episode featured music from the 1990’s, with performances from Vanilla Ice, En Vogue, Salt-N-Pepa, and Kid ‘n Play. The couples performed a relay dance battle against another couple in addition to their routine, which shook up the judges’ leaderboard as the winner received five bonus points.Desiree Murphy from Page Six announced the songs and dance styles for the DWTS season 31 semifinals on Twitter. Each couple is performing two routines: one is an unlearned ballroom dance, and the other is an unlearned Latin dance. After being saved by the DWTS judges for a third time while in the bottom two, Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater will perform a Cha-Cha to “Satisfied” by Galantis featuring MAX, and a Viennese Waltz to “Count On Me” by Judah Kelly. Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart will take on a Viennese Waltz as well, to “Surprise Yourself” by Jack Garratt, followed by a Samba to “Light It Up (Remix)” by Major Lazer featuring Nyla & Fuse ODG. Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas have been on top of the DWTS leaderboard every week, and they will try to continue that in the semifinals with a Viennese Waltz to “Glimpse Of Us” by Joji. Their second round dance is a Paso Doble to “Espana Cani” by Pascual Marquina. Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy will perform a Waltz to “I’m Kissing You” by Des’ree, followed by a Paso Doble to “Malagueña” by Brian Setzer. Finally, Shangela and Gleb Savchenko will dance the Paso Doble to “The Edge Of Glory” by Lady Gaga, followed by a Viennese Waltz to “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. As revealed on ’90s Night, the DWTS semifinals will feature another double elimination.

The DWTS season 31 semifinals will be a way to compare the couples against each other as they are all doing very similar styles. Five stars are dancing the Viennese Waltz, while four couples are dancing the Paso Doble. The semifinals will be an exhilarating night of competition as every couple fights to advance to the DWTS finale.

With only four spots available in the DWTS season 31 finale, every couple will have to pull out all the stops to have a chance to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy. Every couple remaining in the competition has earned multiple 10s from the judges, while four stars have received perfect scores, making the DWTS competition an even playing field.
