Dragon Ball’s Broly Finally Goes Super Saiyan Blue in Fanart That’s Beyond Epic

One of the most popular Dragon Ball characters of all time has finally become a god thanks to a stunning fanart from artist DBSKAKERU1 on X. The fanart depicts what it would look like if Broly achieved the Super Saiyan Blue transformation, one of the most powerful tools in a Saiyan’s arsenal.

In this piece, DBSKAKERU1 depicts the classic Broly, from the Toei Animation original films, as one of the few Saiyans to obtain this divine form. Broly’s primal rage is perfectly encapsulated, as the Saiyan gives a feral look and seems to be prepared to strike at any moment. It is truly an awe-inspiring tribute to one of Dragon Ball’s most emblematic villains.

God Broly – Broly’s Strongest Form Is Too God-Tier Even For Dragon Ball’s Anime

Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, is already one of the strongest fighters in Dragon Ball, but one transformation is WAY too powerful for the anime.

The Power Of a Super Saiyan God

Anime produced by Toei Animation; based on the original series by Akira Toriyama

First introduced during the Dragon Ball Super: Resurrection F movie, Super Saiyan Blue is the evolution of the Super Saiyan God form. Similar to its predecessor, this form grants its user the ability to use and harness divine Ki. Due to this, any Saiyan strong enough to achieve this transformation is capable of rivaling the strength of even the Gods of Destruction. Berus himself became frightened when Goku revealed this new transformation, wondering if he would be able to beat it.

Few beings in the Dragon Ball multiverse can stand up to a Saiyan in this state. During the Tournament of Power arc, Goku and Vegeta used this power to defeat dangerous and intimidating opponents such as Hit, Topo, and the fused warrior, Kefla. Nonetheless, the transformation is not without its faults, as it is incredibly difficult to maintain for prolonged periods. This, however, would most likely not affect Broly, who has never been seen lacking stamina. DBSKAKERU1 did an excellent job showcasing the power of this transformation, turning Broly into a horrifying opponent.

Super Saiyan Blue Broly Is Truly Terrifying

As the Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly’s power level does not act like that of the typical Saiyan. This version of Broly draws his power from anger, as he becomes several times more powerful the more rage he feels. In his original form, Broly was already a fearful foe, having fought against multiple Super Saiyans without breaking a sweat. With the aid of Godly Ki, Paragu’s son would be nigh-invincible. If his previous encounter with the Z Warriors is anything to go by, Goku and his friends would struggle immensely against a Super Saiyan Blue Broly.

Broly would become one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse, capable of erasing multiple galaxies without any effort. Only a God of Destruction like Beerus could likely stop The Legendary Super Saiyan from ending all life in Universe 7. Woefully, this iteration of Broly is most likely never going to be seen in the franchise, as he has already been replaced with a more friendly and peaceful version. Nevertheless, the idea of Dragon Ball Super‘s Broly accessing this transformation and training with Goku and Vegeta to become stronger is truly enticing.

Dragon Ball Super is available to stream on Crunchyroll in the U.S.

Dragon Ball

From the creative mind of Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball is a mega multimedia franchise that spans back to the 1980s. Dragon Ball expanded quickly, starting as a serialized manga for Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. It made its way overseas via manga and an anime adaptation that is enjoyed worldwide. Dragon Ball was the initial starting animated series that followed the adventures of the young Son Goku as he sought after the Dragon Balls. These mystical orbs would grant the wish of any who gathered them together. Then, the series would branch off into the immensely popular Dragon Ball Z, which followed Goku as an adult and featured high-intensity battles and Goku’s never-ending search to be the strongest. The series has also enjoyed several popular video game adaptations and continues to release several new animated series and theatrical films up to the recent popular Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
