Dr. Disrespect’s Final Minutes of Twitch Streaming Are Super Awkward

After Dr Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch, a video surfaced of the last few minutes of his final stream on the platform during which he discusses a conspiracy theorist’s documentary followed by incessant rambling and an abrupt end to his stream. While the reasoning for his ban has yet to be revealed publicly, the last few minutes of his stream give insight to a possible reason for the ban and a look at Dr Disrespect’s current state.

The documentary that Dr Disrespect referenced in his final moments on Twitch was one on controversial conspiracy theorist David Icke. Icke has recently seen heavy scrutinization and condemnation after his theory that 5G cellular towers were linked to the spread of coronavirus was spread online thoroughly disproven, but not before it damaged public understanding of the technology and COVID-19. Dr Disrespect stated that the documentary was “enlightening” and it allowed him to “step out of the box.” This was followed by him yelling at his viewers to, “Wake Up!” before sharing that he had also purchased one of Icke’s books.

The video of Dr Disrespect’s last moments on stream was uploaded as an unlisted video to a YouTube channel, Daily Twitch Fix. The video starts with Doc playing his normal arrogant and obnoxious character before seemingly checking his phone almost 2 minutes into the video. At that point, his mannerisms changed, and he began talking to his fans from a more vulnerable position. He became visibly distressed before affirming his fans that they “need to be strong in this world.” After switching to a video of Roblox (which he would have normally mocked) he entered a somber state and stated, “I appreciate everyone watching today. We’ll…we’ll get through this, champions club. I know it’s a tough… Life’s weird right now….we’ll get through this okay. and uh…..f-ck,” before ending his stream for the final time.

This is not the first instance of Dr Disrespect expressing his controversial views regarding conspiracy theories on stream. While his viewers enjoy his takes on world events and political topics, Doc has recently shared his thoughts on coronavirus conspiracies that left his fans shocked. These theories being David Icke’s 5G cell tower theory and The Hill’s “herd immunity” theory. The Doc has also introduced Shungite onto his stream, which is a dark, non-crystalline mineraloid said by crystal aficionados to have healing properties. Dr Disrepesct claims that Shungite protects people from “unwanted frequencies in the air” and that he has placed these stone formations around his house. Shungite quickly became a comedic prop on his streams, but the his belief in the power of Shungite may not be a joke.

Dr Disrespects last minutes on stream are unsettling as his arrogant person decays over the course of eight minutes. While Dr Disrespect is no stranger to controversy, having been a part of two large scandals in the past three years, his last few statements on stream make it seem as if he knew this ban was coming. It also revealed that the Doc may not be as mentally healthy as his overly confident persona leads us to believe.
