Don’t Worry, Untitled Goose Game is Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

The current online sensation Untitled Goose Game will eventually migrate to other platforms, including  PS4, Xbox One, and potentially even mobile. The game with the goose has been on a sales tear on Switch recently, even managing to usurp the recently released The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening from the top spot on the eShop. That’s quite a feat for any game, let alone one based on the less-than-upstanding shenanigans of a rogue goose.

It looks like nothing can slow the goose down, what with speedrunners getting through the goose game in under four minutes. Heck, some fans even campaigning to put the character in Smash Bros Ultimate. Jokes aside, gamers that aren’t able to play Untitled Goose Game on the currenly available platforms (PC and Switch) are wondering if and when they’ll be able to join in on the fun. Fortunately, Xbox One and PS4 players will be able to get in on the goose goofiness in time.

In an interview between ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) and Untitled Goose Game developer House House, the team confirmed that there are plans to bring the game to other platforms before they move on to their next project. That doesn’t narrow down the window that gamers can expect it to arrive in, but at least perspective players on other platforms can bank on it arriving eventually.

Apparently House House is also currently exploring the possibility of bringing Untitled Goose Game to mobile devices. A publisher at Panic (the company repsonsible for bringing Untitled Goose Game to the Epic Games Store and Switch eShop) confirmed that the idea is being toyed around with on Twitter. The only thing holding the release back is addressing the controls and making them work properly on touchscreens.

There’s no denying the success of Untitled Goose Game at this point. It’s great to see an indie title with such a unique concept finding such a large audience. In that light, it’ll be really cool to see what House House gets up to after it has moved on from Untitled Goose Game. Perhaps the devs can work on a sequel? If so, what would that game even be called? Titled Goose Game? There are so many questions surrounding such idea.

At any rate, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be able to try out Untitled Goose Game soon enough.
