The Golden Bachelor contestant Ellen Goltzer made a strong connection with leading man Gerry Turner on her one-on-one date, but will she win his heart in the end? Ellen became a fan favorite on premiere night when she spoke about her best friend of 60 years, Roberta, who has since passed away from cancer. Ellen and Roberta watched the Bachelor franchise shows together, and they decided that Ellen should do the show.
On The Golden Bachelor episode 3, Gerry chose Ellen for a one-on-one date. It was the so-called Pretty Woman date in which the Bachelor gifts the woman with a beautiful dress from fashion designer Michael Costello, shoes, and jewelry. Gerry gave Ellen a pair of earrings. They then went on a hot air balloon ride, during which their connection became even deeper, and they shared a kiss. Gerry then gave her the date rose. But will Ellen and Gerry fall in love?
Who Is Ellen Goltzer?
Ellen is a 71-year-old retired teacher from Delray Beach, Florida. During The Golden Bachelor episode 3, Ellen and Gerry spoke about how Ellen is no longer married. She met her husband at camp in the Catskills when they were ten years old. She said that was “the root to a long and really good relationship that lasted 25 years.” According to her ABC bio, Ellen is very close with her two sons.
Ellen enjoys playing pickleball, golf, and card games with her sons. Her hobbies include watching television, reading the newspaper, and playing bocce ball with her girlfriends. Does Ellen Win Gerry Turner’s Heart?
According to Reality Steve, Ellen doesn’t receive Gerry’s final rose. Even though Ellen and Gerry have a strong connection, he doesn’t give her a hometown date. It’s unclear when Gerry eliminates her and why. However, during his hometown dates, he met the three other women’s families. They were Faith Martin, Leslie Fhima, and Theresa Nist. Faith was eliminated after her hometown date, which means that Leslie and Theresa are Gerry’s final two women.
Although Ellen and Gerry are connecting more deeply as time passes, they don’t end up together. Ellen has a beautiful personality and would be perfect as the lead of The Golden Bachelorette. Hopefully, if ABC decides to create that show, Ellen will get a second chance to find love.
