Disney+: Every New Movie & TV Show Coming In October 2020

In October 2020, Disney+ is adding a bunch of new original content, along with one original movie, and the highly anticipated second season of a Star Wars TV series. While many theaters around the world continue to rethink their plans of reopening amidst the coronavirus pandemic, streaming services continue to be the main source of entertainment of many, as well as the alternative for studios to release some of their movies. Disney’s very own streaming platform continues adding new content every month, though this time there will be less than in previous months.

September saw the arrival of more movies from the Fox package, such as Never Been Kissed and The Wolverine, as well as new episodes of some of the platform’s original series, including the season finale of Muppets Now. However, the most notable addition was the live-action version of Mulan, which couldn’t have a proper theatrical release and was instead sent to Disney+, but under special conditions. This month won’t have much licensed content to add, with just a couple of TV shows from National Geographic, another Fox movie, and a couple of titles aimed at a younger audience.

As for original content, Disney+ will welcome new shows, including a one-of-a-kind audiovisual experience, a series that will take viewers to space, the second season of the platform’s most popular TV series, and one movie based on a true story. Here’s everything new to Disney+ in October 2020.
