The Suits original cast has a surprise reunion at the Golden Globes on the heels of its streaming domination. USA Network’s legal drama found new life when it arrived on Netflix for the first time, immediately becoming a hit and posing record-breaking viewership. Because of this, there has been a renewed interest in Suits and its actors, which the 81st Golden Globes takes advantage of when some of them are invited to present.
Initially, however, only Mike and Harvey actors, Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht were confirmed to appear. However, as the pair presents, their Suits co-stars, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty surprisingly join them on stage. Watch the Golden Globes moment below via @thedarvey:

Will The Original Suits Cast Return For The Spinoff?
The resurgence of Suits on Netflix caused conversations about a revival of the series. Creator Aaron Korsh candidly listed down the biggest barriers to bringing Suits back, which included the difficulty of bringing the original cast back. However, it was only a matter of time before a platform ordered a follow-up story to Pearson, Hardman, and soon after, Korsh got on board to develop a new story that would neither be a spinoff nor a prequel. This means that the new Suits series will feature a fresh ensemble.
Suits’ 4-Year-Old Cancelled Spinoff Exposes Biggest Problem With New Show
A brand new Suits series is in development, but its 4-year-old failed spin-off exposes why the endeavor will have difficulty succeeding.
Still, there are continued hopes that the new Suits offshoot will see the return of several familiar faces from Pearson, Hardman. When asked about the matter, Adams reveals that he is more than willing to step back into the shoes of Mike Ross, although his return would entail the return of at least either Harvey or Rachel, considering their ties to each other. In any case, it won’t be that difficult to stage a cameo for any of the old Suits cast, especially since it will boost the interest in the new project.
Only time will tell if any of the original Suits cast members pop up in the upcoming offshoot. For now, their Golden Globes reunion is a reminder of how great the ensemble’s chemistry in the show was. Rick Hoffman and Meghan Markle may be absent, but seeing Adams, Macht, Torres, and Rafferty is more than enough for those who love Suits.
