Destiny 2: Legend (& Master) K1 Communion Lost Sector Guide

Destiny 2: Legend (& Master) K1 Communion Lost Sector Guide

K1 Communion is one of Destiny 2‘s many Lost Sectors and can prove to be a challenge for unprepared Guardians. The activity is part of the Legend and Master rotation, granting an opportunity to earn some exclusive Exotic armor. The Lost Sector is full of evasive Fallen enemies and equipment is locked, so players should plan accordingly. K1 Communion is located in the Anchor of Light region of the Moon destination.

Inside, Guardians will encounter Barrier and Overload Champions, both of which should be dealt with as soon as possible. Players in season 17 can bring either a Sidearm or a Pulse Rifle to handle the former. The Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle Arbalest is an alternative, as it inherently comes with the Anti-Barrier perk. For Overload Champions, Guardians have the option of bringing an SMG, Auto Rifle, or Trace Rifle. Similar to The Conflux Lost Sector in Destiny 2, K1 Communion has a Solar Burn that increases the Solar damage dealt and received by 50%. Bringing a strong Solar Rocket Launcher to quickly take out the agile Fallen is recommended. Additionally, some enemies in the activity will have Void shields.

K1 Communion features the frustrating Arach-NO! modifier on Legend and Master. This makes Fallen Vandals spawn a web mine at their feet when defeated. Luckily, Guardians have a brief moment to shoot and destroy the traps, before they create a disruption field. Master difficulty introduces the Famine modifier, significantly reducing ammunition drops. Prepping beforehand can minimize this effect, by equipping any of the Aeon Gauntlets in Destiny 2. These allow players to generate Special Ammo by finishing elite enemies and Heavy Ammo from finishing bosses, minibosses, and Champions. When ready to handle each challenge, Guardians must head to the Moon.

Destiny 2: Legend (& Master) K1 Communion Lost Sector Guide

Heading into K1 Communion, players will immediately be bombarded with enemy fire. There will be plenty of Vandals and Dreg, along with an Overload Champion. Guardians should prioritize this elite enemy, as he is the biggest threat on the left side of the room. On the right, there will be a Barrier Servitor that can shield nearby foes. Dispatch the target to disable the barrier on the door. In the next area, Guardians should prioritize the Overload Champion and quickly take out the Vandals in the back. Players should be careful, as there are still a few more Champions before facing the boss of the Lost Sector in Destiny 2. The final arena is a wide-open room, with plenty of Fallen scattered throughout. Defeating each enemy before fighting the boss is advised, as it is easy to get overwhelmed.

Players are not able to finish K1 Communion as fast as some other Lost Sectors, but the activity can still be cleared fairly easily. The Champions and Vandals are the biggest threat. Guardians may have limited revives and time, but moving slowly is key to success for anyone having trouble with this Lost Sector.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.
