High and Low, the fifth collaboration between Denzel Washington and Spike Lee, has officially started filming. Released in 1963, High and Low is directed by Akira Kurosawa, telling the story of an executive at a shoe company whos son is taken hostage and held for ransom. The Lee remake was confirmed earlier this year, with A24 handling distribution before the film then lands on Apple TV Plus.
A24 now shares a new post on X, formerly known as Twitter, confirming that filming on High and Low has now officially started.
