Deathstroke’s Best Alt-Costume Returns in Fanart of Stolen Flash Powers

In DC Comics, Deathstroke is a mercenary for hire who has gone toe-to-toe with more than a few super teams over the years, and now, in a return to a costume that saw Slade steal the Flash-Family’s iconic Speed Force powers, digital artist Bosslogic makes Deathstroke look better than ever as a super fast, super deadly speedster!

An image shared on the official Instagram account of Bosslogic (@bosslogic), this page is one that consistently posts new pieces of digital artwork that show off Bosslogic’s insanely creative mind as an original creator, fanart sketcher, and professional artist. An account with over two million followers and counting, Bosslogic dabbles in making art of just about anything fans can think of. Drawing characters from Marvel and DC Comics’ respective superhero universes, Hollywood blockbusters like John Wick and Top Gun: Maverick, hit shows like Stranger Things and Game of Thrones, video games like Metal Gear Solid and Pokémon, and even anime properties like the always popular Dragon Ball series, Bosslogic doesn’t let up when it comes to bringing nerdy content to the masses.

A character usually associated with being an antagonist for the Teen Titans, Batman, the Justice League, and now, thanks to his dark deeds in the epic Dark Crisis On Infinite Earths event currently in progress, literally everyone else in the DC Universe, Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson is one of the most feared and revered villains of all time. Thanks to his capable skills as a fighter and enhanced physiology, Slade is stronger, faster, smarter, and more durable than the average man, and after finding a way to steal Flash’s Speed Force powers in the crossover story titled The Lazarus Contract, he becomes the Fastest Killer Alive too!

Illustrating Deathstroke drifting into frame faster than a speeding Flash-Family member, Bosslogic honors Slade’s original black and gold bodysuit design but punches it up to another level by making the large lightning bolt adorning Slade’s chest glow with yellow Speed Force energy. Trailing lightning and debris as he sprints with superhuman speed, Bosslogic blurs the dark background to make the art’s colors pop, completing Deathstroke’s evil look by having him glare directly at viewers as if he were coming right for them!

It’s possible Slade might feel the need for speed yet again somewhere down the line in comics, so it’s a good thing Bosslogic (@bosslogic) has cooked up a piece that reminds fans how badass this redesign was the first time around. Deathstroke tapping into the Speed Force was a dark time for the heroes of DC Comics, but at least he looked good doing it!
