DC Universe Shows Coming After Harley Quinn

Here’s every TV show releasing on DC Universe after Harley Quinn. The Kaley Cuoco-starring animated series, Harley Quinn, is one of DC Universe’s biggest offerings, but there is still a lot let to look forward to on the DC-branded streaming platform. The remaining slate of programming consists of returning favorites as well as the debut of new ones that will help flesh out DC Universe’s library of content. Since its launch in 2018, the Warner Bros. owned service has slowly and steadily been expanding with a select number of characters coming to life.

While most of the programs have been set to come out this year, DC Universe has yet to announce any official premiere dates for most of them. However, the plan seems to roll them out one after one throughout the whole year. With some of the series that have wrapped production on their upcoming seasons, there are a few that still haven’t started filming. As the respective shows get closer to airing, more details from story plots to additional casting news will be unveiled by DC Universe and Warner Bros. These are all the shows coming now that Harley Quinn is finishing up its run.

DC Universe All-Star Games

DC Universe is reviving DC Heroes RPG in the form of All-Star Games, making it the streaming platform’s first game show as well as its first unscripted series. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sam Witwer are attached as executive producers of season one’s five-part series. Set to premiere on Friday, February 28, the first installment will begin exactly a week after Harley Quinn season one has wrapped.

Stargirl

DC Universe Stargirl Season 1

After several delays, Geoff Johns’ Stargirl is slated to debut during the spring on DC Universe as well as on The CW. Starring Brec Bassinger as Stargirl, the series follows Courtney Whitmore who becomes the titular heroine after discovering her stepfather’s partner’s cosmic staff. Stargirl will also incorporate the Justice Society of America as Courtney will help create its second generation of heroes. Following the news that it’d be available on DC Universe and The CW, Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover established Stargirl to officially exist on a new-formed Earth-2.

Doom Patrol

The second season of the critically acclaimed Doom Patrol has been shooting in Atlanta, Georgia since November 2019. With filming being close to done, it will likely be the next show to follow once Stargirl has ended its first season. Plot details are being kept under wrap, but season 2 will introduce new characters like The Chief’s daughter and a gender-swapped Ron Evers. Doom Patrol season 2 will be simultaneously airing on DC Universe and the upcoming HBO Max service.

Titans

Following the end of Titans season 2, the series’ third season will debut sometime in the fall according to DC Universe. While details are limited, Starfire’s (Anna Diop) villainous sister Blackfire will play a larger role in season 3. It was shortly revealed after the finale that Damaris Lewis got promoted to series regular, suggesting that the two Tamaran sisters will be a primary focus in Titans season 3. It has been teased that Conor Leslie’s Doona Troy will be coming back from the dead after passing away in the season finale.

Young Justice

Young Justice Season 4

The popular animated series Young Justice was one of the shows to help launch DC Universe. With its third season’s massive performance for the platform, a season 4 renewal was inevitable. Similarly to Young Justice: Outsiders’ build-up, little is known about the next season. When announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, the showrunners Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti confirmed that Young Justice season 4 was already in production.

Bizarro TV

DC Universe BizarroTV Characters

DC Universe is exploring its first anthology series through Bizarro TV, which will be a mixture of animation and live-action. The premise teases the exploration of some of DC’s more obscure characters.such as Ambush Bug, Slam Bradley, and the Creeper. Despite Bizarro TV being announced in October 2019, no further details have emerged since then other than being slated to premiere in 2020. Until DC Universe clarifies if the project has been scrapped or not, expect it to come out this year at some point.
