Batman: The Brave and the Bold is one of the most anticipated movies for the DCU, which is why fan casting for the titular role is so prevalent – but some DC fans are making a solid argument for a popular Batman choice to be cast in another role entirely. With filming for the DCU’s debut movie, Superman, now underway, the new cinematic universe is starting to take shape. Unsurprisingly, given the involvement of James Gunn, less well-known characters are already being included, with the likes of Hawkgirl and Metamorpho starring in Superman.
With that in mind, X user @karlo_DA_Menace suggested that Alan Ritchson would play a better Wildcat than he would Batman, and fans like @SIM0NJESS agree.
@ViperSawayama also agrees that the casting makes a lot more sense than Bruce Wayne, who is likely to be much older in The Brave and the Bold than in previous iterations.
@Pessahphoto, meanwhile, seems to disagree after simply sharing an image of Ritchson in costume side-by-side with an image of Bruce Wayne, illustrating their similarities.
