The show, which premiered on AMC on September 10, follows Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) arriving in France after the events of the zombie apocalypse drama The Walking Dead, which concluded its 11-season run in 2022. The show is one of a vast network of spinoff shows in the Walking Dead Universe, which also includes Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Tales of the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: Dead City, with more to come.
Now that Daryl Dixon season 1 has premiered on AMC, Rotten Tomatoes has aggregated a score for the show. Out of a total of 30 reviews, the season has earned a score of 80%, which has been officially Certified Fresh by the platform. This is the first time a season that isn’t part of the Walking Dead flagship series has been Certified Fresh since Fear the Walking Dead season 4 in 2018.
