A former star of 90 Day Fiancé, Darcey Silva returns to TLC with season 2 of Darcey & Stacey this week and reveals the shocking details of her first-ever kiss. Darcey and Stacey’s spin-off gives viewers a peek into their lives at home with their children and parents, along with their younger love interests, Georgi Rusev and Florian Sukaj. Fans are familiar with the drama on four seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days that made the Silva sisters wildly popular, including Darcey’s tryst with plastic surgery and dramatic relationships with Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks. But in Darcey & Stacey season 2, Darcey reveals her first kiss story to daughters Aniko and Aspen.
Plastic surgery and twin transformations have been a running theme of Darcey’s reality TV shenanigans, as have her variety of younger exes, such as the famous Jesse from Amsterdam, who Darcey met on an international dating app. Jesse was 18 years her junior, while Tom, her British former flame, was born in 1980. Darcey’s current beau Georgi is 33. With age gaps between Darcey and her younger partners being a juicy subject for 90 Day Fiancé fans, her conversation with Aniko and Aspen about kissing boys came as a surprise.
In a clip from the premiere episode of Darcey & Stacey season 2, Darcey asks her kids if the high school party they’re attending is going to be co-ed. Upon Aniko and Aspen telling her that it’ll only be friends from school whom they know, Darcey admits she gets “a little nervous because there’s boys.” As photos of young Darcey and Stacey flash on the screen, she reveals they were “shy, introverted kids who never really wanted to go to parties.” According to Darcey, she wants to make sure “nothing’s gonna be going down” with her daughters. The 90 Day Fiancé star mom then finds out that her daughter, Aniko, has already had her first kiss during freshman year. Darcey is shocked that her girls didn’t tell her about it.
Upon finding out her daughter has kissed someone who’s not her age, Darcey shows disapproval because of her “going for the older boys.” To the cameras, Darcey tells viewers that a first kiss is something one remembers their whole life. She then explains that hers happened when she was 18 and in college. “It was with a guy that liked to jet ski all the time,” Darcey shares, before remembering that he was “foreign too.” The Spanish boy apparently also taught self-confessed late-bloomer Darcey “how to use that tongue.” In the comments of the TLC post, however, fans are calling Darcey out for being “a bad example.”
One fan joked, “Not everyone likes men 20 years younger than them 🙌.” Someone else observed, “They didn’t share with you because you’re too busy trying to find a man.” But there are also some 90 Day Fiancé viewers who think Darcey being open with her kids “creates that level of trust and so they won’t be sneaky.” Another excited fan commented, “I think she is a great mom. 👏👏👏” Many fans have admired Darcey’s relationship with her daughters from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but it appears criticism is something that will never stop coming her way.
