Crisis On Infinite Earths: Producer Says Some Cameos Still To Come

Producer Marc Guggenheim confirms there are even more unrevealed cameos for Crisis on Infinite Earths. The upcoming Arrowverse crossover has been highly anticipated since last December. Recently, The CW released a few teasers for the event, promising a gathering of heroes.

It would not be a stretch to say Crisis on Infinite Earths is an unprecedented event. Not only is the crossover gathering characters from the Arrowverse, but it will feature a number of heroes from throughout the multiverse. In a welcome surprise, Tom Welling will reprise his role as Superman from the Smallville continuity. Longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy will play the Kingdom Come version of Bruce Wayne. Even Ashley Scott’s Huntress from the rather obscure Birds of Prey show will make an appearance. As one can see, there is a lot to look forward to in Crisis on Infinite Earths. The large amount of characters being squeezed into the event is staggering. Somehow, despite all the leaks and reveals up to this point, there are still some upcoming surprises.

Marc Guggenheim, longtime figure on the Arrowverse, has responded to a fan asking if there are any more surprise cameos in Crisis on Infinite Earths. According to Guggenheim, not everything has been revealed.

Unfortunately, Guggenheim did not confirm if the fan-favorite Beebo would make his return from Legends of Tomorrow. As for other cameos, it’s anyone’s guess at this point. With a number of characters and actors already in the event, it’s hard to imagine who else realistically the Crisis will feature. Will the network reveal these surprise cameos? According to Guggenheim in a later tweet, the plan is to keep these cameos under wraps, though with a possible exception. With Crisis on Infinite Earths premiering in under three weeks, fans won’t have to wait much longer before the event begins.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is looking to be a special event for comic book fans and longtime viewers of the Arrowverse. It’s probably the biggest crossover in television history, even featuring three different versions of Superman. The actual story should be very interesting to follow. Fans know the Anti-Monitor is coming, but how closely the event follows the comic in terms of character deaths remains to be seen. Clocking in at five hours over the different shows, Crisis on Infinite Earths is also the longest Arrowverse crossover. This should be enough time to give all these characters a proper appearance, even if some potentially are just short cameos. Crisis on Infinite Earths begins December 8, starting with Supergirl.
