Courteney Cox In Talks For Scream 7 Return As Gale Weathers Alongside Neve Campbell’s Sidney

As the new sequel gets back on track, Courteney Cox is in talks to return for Scream 7.

Variety has brought word that Cox is in negotiations to reprise her role of Gale Weathers for the Scream 7 cast. The news comes just a couple of weeks after it was confirmed that Neve Campbell would be returning as Sidney Prescott after her infamous departure over a pay dispute in the previous installment. At the time of writing, Cox’s return has yet to be confirmed for the slasher sequel.
