Comic-Con 2016: WB TV Slate Includes Supergirl, Gotham & More

San Diego Comic-Con has increasingly become the place where studios come to show off their coming wares, to offer those in attendance a glimpse at the movies and television shows that will be vying for their hard-earned dollar or their weekly viewership once the fall television season rolls around. While some studios have opted to for a more discrete presence at the Con or have chosen to forego attending altogether over concerns about piracy, Warner Bros. Television has decided to go in a completely different direction by announcing it will be bringing an impressive slate of product and talent from its many shows to San Diego in July.

With the continuing popularity of its programs on The CW, like Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and soon, Supergirl, as well as FOX’s Gotham, it’s no surprise, really, that the studio will be bringing along its heavy hitters to the Con as a way to get fans riled up about the new, superhero-filled seasons of each respective series. But WB TV isn’t just responsible for those DC Comics-related series; it also handles the long-running Supernatural, along with The 100, iZombie, and the upcoming Archie Comics reimagining, Riverdale.

With that line-up it is no wonder Warner Bros. TV is planning a full-scale geek out for Comic-Con 2016 attendees, offering them access to advance pilot screenings as well as video presentations and Q&As for a number of their programs. In anticipation of the event and their massive, time-consuming schedule, Warner Bros. was nice enough to issue an official press release (via: ksiteTV) detailing when and where the TV takeover will occur.
