The Bachelor season 27 contestant Christina Mandrell, who is a single mom, received support from fellow Bachelor Nation parents Amanda Stanton, Nate Mitchell and Michael Allio. Christina, a 27-year-old content creator from Tennessee, is a divorced single mom to her 5-year-old daughter, Blakely. When Zach Shallcross chose her for his first one-on-one date of the season, she opened up to him about being a mom. Zach admitted that he was unsure if he was ready to be a father, but he gave Christina the date rose because he wanted to explore their relationship further.

In a funny Instagram reel created by Christina, Bachelor Nation parents Amanda Stanton and Nate Mitchell expressed their support for her.

Amanda, who appeared on Ben Higgins’ Bachelor season and Bachelor in Paradise seasons 3 and 4, is the mom of two daughters, Charlie and Kinsley. Nate was fan favorite on The Bachelorette season 19, during which he told Gabby Windey about his daughter, Mila. In the video, the trio lip synchs to an audio clip from The Office. The Bachelor’s Christina Mandrell said, “Do you want to form an alliance with me?” Amanda and Nate answer, “Absolutely I do.” Christina replies, “Good, good.”

Christina captioned the post, “TBNGPA (The Bachelor Nation Girl Parent Alliance) is growing. But for reals thankful for the support from other parents who understand the balancing that goes into having a daughter and following your heart.” While live tweeting The Bachelor, Nate related to Christina by writing, “This hits home for obvious reasons. Def a fan of Christina! Seems like a great person and went thru a tough sacrifice to seek love!” Bachelor in Paradise season 8 star and single dad to his son, James, Michael Allio also expressed his support for Christina by joining in the fun by adding himself to the video on TikTok.

The support from Christina’s fellow Bachelor Nation parents is important because she has expressed that some people have mom-shamed her for joining the cast of The Bachelor. Amanda, Nate, and Michael faced similar backlash during their searches for love. Michael struggled so much with his decision to leave his son that he self-eliminated from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette to return home to him. Having a support system within the franchise will help Christina balance being a mom with pursuing true love.

Christina joins a long line of Bachelor Nation single parents, including The Bachelor leads Jason Mesnick and Juan Pablo Galavis, and The Bachelorette lead Emily Maynard. Although contestants who have children have a more complicated situation, they deserve the chance to find love as much as anyone else. Their children should not be seen as obstacles, but rather as precious gifts who can add even more love to the relationship. Michael, Nate, and Amanda are wonderful for stepping up and showing Christina support. If she does not find love with Zach, she might make a great Bachelorette lead, with Blakely by her side.

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
