Chris Evans and Ana de Armas Set Photos Reveal First Look At Their New Movie

New photos of Knives Out co-stars show Chris Evans and Ana de Armas laughing on set in Atlanta, Georgia as production begins for their new romantic action-adventure film Ghosted. An Apple TV+ original, the film is being directed by Rocketman‘s Dexter Fletcher. Although few details have been released about the film, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are behind the script, which could mean the story will share the same outlandish, bold humor as the pair’s other projects, like Deadpool and Zombieland. Adrien Brody (The Pianist) is also set to join the cast, though it is unclear what role he will take on.

When the film was first announced, Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson held the leading role opposite Evans. However, by the end of 2021, it was announced that due to personal scheduling conflicts, she would amicably leave the project which made room for the Blade Runner 2049 star to take over. David Ellison’s company Skydance is responsible for getting Ghosted off the ground, with Dana Goldberg and Don Granger assisting Ellison and Evans as producers, while de Armas is credited as an executive producer.

Photos shared by E! News show the Ghosted stars joyfully working on set in Atlanta this week. This will be the third project de Armas and Evans work on together, and from these first look photos, they appear to be having fun. Neither Evans nor de Armas seem too beat up by the supposed action-adventure elements in this story, but they are looking romantic with sweet costumes and well-groomed hair. Take a look at the first photos from Ghosted below:

The Skydance team purchased Ghosted when Reese and Wernick approached them with the idea, describing it as a high concept romance action-adventure story. Apple TV+ quickly acquired the title soon thereafter. Production began in February 2022, and as of now this brief glimpse of their day in Atlanta is the only hint as to what can be expected from the film.

In addition to Knives Out, Evans and de Armas have worked together on the Netflix film The Gray Man from directors Anthony and Joe Russo, an action-thriller set to premiere in 2022. These two are making a habit out of working together, and audiences seem to enjoy their on-screen chemistry. Ghosted will bring these much-adored co-stars together for an interesting story no doubt. But, until new information is released, these photos are the only clues for now about what to expect from the upcoming production.
