Castlevania Advance Collection Rated For PS4, Xbox One, Switch, & PC

Castlevania Advance Collection Rated For PS4, Xbox One, Switch, & PC

The Castlevania Advance Collection is becoming one of the worst kept secrets in the industry, as the game has now been rated for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, & PC in Taiwan. There is already an existing Castlevania Collection available on modern platforms, which contains several of the entries in the series that were released before Rondo of Blood.

The Castlevania series produced three games on the Game Boy Advance: Aria of SorrowCircle of Moon, and Harmony of Dissonance. All three are highly regarded Castlevania spin-off titles, which acted as portable titles that used the gameplay style created by Symphony of the NightAria of Sorrow would go on to receive a sequel on the Nintendo DS, called Dawn of Sorrow, which was also a highly-regarded title.

The people who missed out on the chance to play the Castlevania titles on Game Boy Advance might soon be able to experience them on modern platforms. According to Gematsu, a game called Castlevania Advance Collection has been rated for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, & PC by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee. If the game does exist, then it will likely be announced during the 35th anniversary of the Castlevania series, which is set to take place on September 26, 2021. There’s also a chance that it will be announced during the rumored Nintendo Direct that is meant to take place this month, especially as Castlevania Advance Collection has been rated for the Switch.

Castlevania Advance Collection Rated For PS4, Xbox One, Switch, & PC

This isn’t the first time that the Castlevania Advance Collection has appeared in a listing like this, as it was also rated in Australia and South Korea a few months back. It bears mentioning that age ratings don’t necessarily mean that a game is due to come out anytime soon. Square Enix rated Live A Live in Australia, suggesting that a remake of the classic SNES JRPG was on the way. That rating was filed over a year ago and there have still been no announcements regarding the game.

If the Castlevania Advance Collection is real and contains the three Castlevania games from the Game Boy Advance, then it will be an amazing package. Aria of Sorrow, Circle of the Moon, and Harmony of Dissonance are some of the best titles on the Game Boy Advance, and their appearance on modern systems would be more than appreciated. Nintendo doesn’t seem interested in porting Game Boy Advance games to Nintendo Switch Online, so at least fans will have a chance to experience these Castlevania games on the Switch.
