Phil – The Hangover (2009)
Todd Phillips is the mastermind behind this hilarious comedy, and this is definitely a slapstick flick that is so outrageous that it’s impossible not to laugh the entire time.
With Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha, three friends are at a bachelor party in Vegas – and wake up after a drunken night to find the bachelor missing. This classic role is as comedic as Cooper’s filmography gets.
Alex Dmitri – Hit And Run (2012)
This action comedy is written and directed by Dax Shepard, who also stars in the film. He plays a former getaway driver who is Witness Protection, who risks it all to move to LA with his girlfriend (Kristen Bell).
However, the feds and his former gang are far from letting him leave. Bradley Cooper is his former partner, and with dreadlocks and a tragic prison story, this flick is totally ridiculous – but totally hilarious.
Ben – He’s Just Not That Into You (2009)
This rom-com is definitely a popular favorite, and Cooper stars alongside Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, and more.
This is one of those classics that follows many interconnecting stories with different people, but is a totally entertaining flick about reading each other’s behavior. This romantic flick is definitely on the comedic side.
Rocket – Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014)
While fans can’t see Cooper’s handsome face in this superhero flick, he does give a pretty stellar voice-acting performance, playing Rocket the raccoon.
He joins Chris Pratt in this group of intergalactic criminals, and becomes a pretty prominent member of the MCU. This role is for everyone, and is definitely a hilarious and action-packed treat.
Neil Walker – Joy (2015)
This is the first of three flicks directed by David O. Russell on this list, and where Cooper teams up with Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence plays Joy, a struggling mom who founds a business – about a mop.
This flick tells her story of rising to be a powerful business woman. With a mesmerizing Cooper and Robert De Niro at her side, this Oscar-nominated flick is a biography drama that’s certainly memorable.
Pat – Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
This romantic comedy drama stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. Cooper plays Pat, a former teacher who moves back in with his parents while struggling with bipolar disorder. He meets Tiffany, an equally unstable, but completely mesmerizing woman.
Directed by David O. Russell, this is an Oscar-winning film, and is certainly Bradley Cooper at his best – and even received a nomination. It’s hilarious and lovable, but also touches on some pretty serious content.
Richie DiMaso – American Hustle (2013)
This flick was nominated for a whopping 10 Oscars. Also directed by David O. Russell, this crime drama follows a con man (Christian Bale) and his partner (Amy Adams), who must team up with a chaotic FBI agent (Cooper) to take down bigger fish.
With a scattered Jennifer Lawrence and an intriguing Jeremy Renner, this movie is stunning from start to finish. With some serious comedic moments, this crime drama still leans more towards serious.
Avery – The Place Beyond The Pines (2012)
This crime drama is definitely a hidden gem. A motorcycle stunt rider (Ryan Gosling) begins robbing banks to support his love and newborn. However, a rookie cop (Cooper) tries to take him down, all while navigating the corrupt nature of his department.
This movie is a brilliant and mesmerizing story of class, family, love, and politics. These two aren’t as different as they think, and this dramatic film is a must-see.
Chris Kyle – American Sniper (2014)
This biography war drama follows Navy S.E.A.L., Chris Kyle, who after becoming a legend on the battlefield, struggles to overcome his trauma when he’s back home with his family.
Directed by Clint Eastwood, this Oscar-winning film stars Cooper with Sienna Miller and Kyle Gallner. For lovers of war movies, this serious and tragic flick is masterful with Cooper at the forefront of it.
Jack – A Star Is Born (2018)
While this music drama might seem like a less serious flick than the previous, it actually tackles incredibly tragic and difficult topics. Cooper directs this film himself, and also showcases his incredibly musical talent.
With Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott, a musician helps a new singer make it big – all while struggling with love, fame, and alcoholism. This Oscar-winning flick is a must-see, and is totally memorable and beautiful.
