Bo-Katan Rules Mandalore In Breathtaking Star Wars Cosplay

An amazing cosplay from Rei Kennex showcases Bo-Katan Kryze from The Mandalorian. The sister of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lost love, Bo-Katan Kryze was introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars as part of a sinister terrorist group known as the Death Watch. Over the years, though, Bo-Katan has been redeemed – becoming a true hero in The Mandalorian.

How To Watch Star Wars Movies In Order

Here is how to watch all Star Wars movies and TV shows, both chronologically and by release date, and how the Star Wars timeline works.

Cosplayer Rei.Kennex has brought this iconic character to life. She’s captured staring out across the planet Mandalore, in a scene clearly set after the Clone Wars but before the Purge of Mandalore. With the symbol of Clan Kryze displayed prominently on her pauldrons, scratches on her armor to make it look more realistic, and a Mandalorian jetpack, the costume looks like it could be taken right out of The Mandalorian. Complete with a red wig and gray headband, rei.kennex is ready to take on the role of Mandalore’s leader.

What Happened To Bo-Katan After The Purge of Mandalore?

Mandalore was ruled by the Empiire during the Dark Times, and the Mandalorians naturally rebelled. Although Bo-Katan attempted to placate Moff Gideon – literally giving him the Darksaber – she was unable to prevent the Purge of Mandalore. The Mandaloriians were scattered across the galaxy, but Bo-Katan dreamed of reuniting them.

She achieved this in The Mandalorian season 3, reclaiming the Darksaber and using it to unite Mandalore’s fragmented warrior clans. Now the leader of a ragtag group of competing clans, Bo-Katan has her work cut out for her if she wants to rebuild Mandalore. It was revealed at the end of The Mandalorian season 3 that Mandalore, while still devastated by the Empire’s attacks, appears to be habitable. Perhaps this will aid Bo-Katan Kryze in further uniting the clans as they seek to restore their homeworld.
