New episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War are currently debuting in the US on Hulu and on Disney Plus in many countries worldwide. Episode #22 is set for release in subtitled form at 7:30 AM PT and 10:30 AM ET on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Dubbed episodes of Thousand-Year Blood War are now also debuting on Saturdays on Hulu, but the dubbed release is about 4 weeks behind the subbed, meaning August 12 will see the dub of episode #18 released. Of course, there’s no need for fans to tune in at exactly 10:30, as the new episode will be streaming on Hulu indefinitely from that point forward.

Episode #21 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War saw Ichigo finally arrive at the battlefield, equipped with his brand new Zanpakuto and some powerful new clothes. Ichigo went up against the female Sternritter, who struggled valiantly, but even together were no match for Ichigo. Ichigo also used a new move, the Getsuga Jujisho, which already showed a tremendous level of power. As other Sternritter such as Bazz B piled on, Renji, Rukia, and Byakuya came to help Ichigo out. Ichigo then headed off to battle Yhwach, only to be stunned by the sight of Uryu at his side. Uryu and Yhwach ascended to the heavens, leaving Ichigo speechless as Chad and Orihime arrived.

Episode #22 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is reportedly a recap episode, going over the events of the series so far. As such, there’s not likely to be much, if any, new content, but it does make a good opportunity for fans to refresh themselves on what all has happened, as the show has been action-packed, with a lot happening in each episode.
