One of Bingo’s funniest moments comes in Bluey, season 1, episode 14, “Takeaway.” The episode is filled with comedic moments that highlight parents’ patience being tested by their children. Bingo has to go to the bathroom and learns that it’s too far away for her to make it, causing her to go in the bushes. Meanwhile, crows start eating the family’s fallen takeout food. At this point, Bingo, as she’s going to the bathroom, decides to scream at a crow: “No, Mr. Crow! It’s too spicy for you!” Bingo simultaneously peeing in the bushes and warning unknowing crows about the food’s spice level makes for a silly and memorable moment.
9 Singing “Poor Little Bug On The Wall” In “Butterflies”
In Bluey, season 1, episode 15, “Butterflies,” Bingo is left all alone in the backyard after Bluey runs off with her friend Judo. Bingo decides to express her upset over being abandoned in the form of a short, little song. The lyrics to the song go: “Poor little bug on the wall. Ding jing. No one to love him at all. Ding jing. No one to tickle his toes. Ding jing. No one to blow his nose.” Although the song stems from a place of hurt for Bingo, the lyrics are so silly that audiences can’t help but laugh.
8 Pretending To Be An Elderly Woman In “Grannies”
One of the silliest episodes of the show is Bluey, season 1, episode 28, “Grannies,” where the two girls dress up like elderly women. Bingo is especially funny in this episode, as she really gets into her grannie character named “Rita.” In addition to being a slow-walker and a bit hard of hearing, Bingo decides that Rita is also a thief. In the episode, she pretends to shoplift baked beans from the kitchen and hide them in her shirt. She is also a terrible driver, as she rams into a setup of toys while driving her elderly sister “Janet” around. Bingo’s commitment to the bit is hilarious, so much so that Rita has made an appearance in every season since.
7 Asking The Fridge If They Can Be Friends In “Bluey Bingo”
Considering Bluey, season 2, episode 9 is called “Bingo,” it’s no surprise that it’s filled with funny Bingo moments. One of these sees Bingo wanting to put up a drawing of New Zealand on the fridge. Always a good-mannered dog, Bingo decides to ask the fridge if it is okay for her to put it on, as well as if the fridge would like to be her friend. She tells the fridge to beep twice if she is interested in the friendship. Seeing Bingo start up a friendship with an inanimate object — and be so polite in doing so — made for a truly comedic moment.
6 Saying Something Is “Trifficult” In “Favourite Thing”
Like most little kids, Bingo has not yet mastered the English language in full. This leads to some silly slip-ups in her wording. For example in Bluey, season 2, episode 7, “Favourite Thing,” Bingo tries to pick up cherry tomatoes with a fork. She has a hard time doing so and lets out an exasperated, “This is trifficult!” Her mixing of the words “tricky” and “difficult” make her family —and viewers — chuckle.
5 Telling Sheila To “Get It Together” In “Sleepover”
Some of Bingo’s best humor comes when she is just being blunt. This is demonstrated in Bluey, season 1, episode 39, “The Sleepover,” when Bluey and Bingo pretend to be husband and wife, with their cousin being their daughter, “Sheila.” When Sheila acts rambunctious, Bingo, who is decked out in a fedora and fake mustache, passionately tells her to “get it together.” Seeing this little dog pretend to be so tough while dressed up like a grown man is all-around funny.
4 Singing About Being A Digger Truck In “The Weekend”
Leave it to Bingo to be able to entertain herself with her own imagination. In Bluey, season 1, episode 6, “The Weekend,” Bingo pretends to be a digger truck and even makes up a song to go along with it. She sings, “I’m a digger, strong and tough. Beep, beep, beep, get out of my way! I need to dig the ground today.” Seeing her act out this silly scene all on her own at the otherwise calm breakfast table makes for a funny scene.
3 Pretending Grass Clippings Are Wombats In “Mini Bluey”
Bingo’s huge imagination is one of the best things about her, and it often leads to amusing moments. One example of this comes in Bluey, season 3, episode 7, “Mini Bluey.” Bingo often forms funny relationships with inanimate objects, and in this case, she befriends some grass clippings. She creatively decides that they remind her of wombats and even says that she likes to pretend she is hugging them. Watching Bingo take something as simple as blades of grass and turn it into an entire story about wombats is quite comical.
2 Telling A Bride & Groom “You May Now Say Some Things” In “Horsey Ride”
Bluey, season 1, episode 9, “Horsey Ride,” is filled with hysterical moments, many of which involve Bingo. The episode is about Bluey and Bingo putting together a horsey wedding in order to distract one of their friends who won’t let go of Bluey’s favorite toy. During this funny wedding, Bluey tells Bingo that she needs to say something to add to the distraction. Bingo then says, “You may now say some things.” Her taking her older sister’s request so literally was both adorable and comedic.
1 Eating A Banana While Brushing Her Teeth In “Sticky Gecko”
Bluey, season 2, episode 12, “Sticky Gecko,” is a funny episode in general, but Bingo’s moments definitely stand out. One especially comedic moment is when she is brushing her teeth, and asks Bluey to send her up a banana on their toy cable car system. Bingo then takes a bite of said banana, makes a face, says, “Blegh, toothpaste,” and sends it back down. Her facial expressions and quickness to return the banana make for a silly scene.
