Big Brother: Nicole Franzel Thanks Critics For Helping Her Find ‘Purpose’

Nicole Franzel is thanking her haters for helping her find her “purpose” one year after leaving the Big Brother house. Nicole competed on three different seasons of the show, securing a win of the half a million dollar grand prize during season 18 in 2016. Last summer, Nicole returned to the Big Brother house for the All-Star season during which she came just shy of being the first ever two-time winner on the show.

Nicole placed third during the All-Star season after Cody Calafiore chose to bring Enzo Palumbo to the final two, with him ultimately evicting Nicole. The season 18 winner recently admitted on her podcast that she still has nightmares about this betrayal. Nicole was obviously hurt by Cody’s decision. She became extremely emotional during her eviction interview with longtime host Julie Chen Moonves. Nicole and Cody have not spoken since the finale of the season last fall.

Following the conclusion of the season, Nicole received a ton of negative backlash from viewers. Now, one year later, she is thanking these haters for helping her find her “purpose.” Nicole shared a video on her Instagram page on Tuesday with a lengthy caption. The montage consisted of photos of some of her best moments since leaving the Big Brother house such as the birth of her son and recently purchasing her new home. Towards the end of the caption, Nicole wrote, “Haters—thanks for crashing my world. You helped me find my purpose, find genuine happiness & be scary confident.” Take a look at the post below.

Although she did address her haters in the post, a majority of the caption was directed towards her supporters. Nicole started off by saying, “If Nicole from exactly a year ago could see herself now—she would never believe it.” She then gave a big “THANK YOU” to her supporters, especially for “being there for [her] when [her] world was crashing down.” Nicole is especially thankful for the “best group of women” she is surrounded by on the social media platform. When Nicole first made her return to social media after the All-Star season, she thanked the haters for helping her make positive changes in her life. A year later and these haters continue to help Nicole change for the better, which, she stated, is “definitely not what [they] were hoping for.”

Despite hitting a rough patch after leaving the Big Brother house last fall due to the immense amount of hate and backlash, Nicole has managed to come out on top. Not only has she become more confident and happy with herself, Nicole has also married the love of her life, Victor Arroyo, become a mom and finally spent her Big Brother earnings on a gorgeous new family home. That is definitely not the outcome all of those haters had hoped for.
