Big Brother 25 houseguest Bowie Jane has been flying under the radar for most of the game so far, but, her real life has been an exciting adventure. Bowie Jane is one of the 17 houseguests competing for the $750,000 grand prize on the milestone season. Hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, Big Brother 25 has already been full of twists and turns, including the multiverses, the Nether Region, the Power of Invincibility, and the addition of Survivor legend Cirie Fields as the 17th houseguest.
Big Brother 25 has paid tribute to the show’s rich history, with appearances by Big Brother royalty Danielle Reyes, Britney Haynes, and Frankie Grande, when they accidentally unleashed the multiverses in the house with the Time Laser. In addition, Kaysar Ridha returned to virtually host the legendary Pressure Cooker competition. Now, Bowie has the potential to become another icon in the world of Big Brother.

Bowie, whose full name is Bowie Jane Ball, is 45 years old, which makes her one of the oldest Big Brother 25 houseguests. However, in her premiere night package, she revealed that she planned to tell her fellow contestants that she was 34 years old. Bowie is one of the nine Big Brother 25 contestants who are 30 or older.
Bowie Jane’s Hometown
Bowie was born in Melbourne, Australia. However, she currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Bowie moved there about eight years ago.
Bowie Jane’s Jobs
Bowie once lived a secret double life. By day, she was a criminal trial attorney. Her specialty was money laundering and tax fraud. By night, Bowie is a DJ. In her Big Brother 25 premiere night package, she revealed that she DJs to massive audiences, and she’s “absolutely able to keep up with the younger crowd. I would say I go harder, actually.” In a 2021 interview with VoyageLA, Bowie shared that she’d been living “a very secret double life” until her story was exposed by the UK’s Daily Mail “which was crazy at the time.”
Bowie revealed that she was on the “front page of every major paper in the UK and on every radio show.” She added, “The lawyers didn’t know I was a singer and the musicians didn’t know I was a lawyer.” Once her story became public knowledge around the world, she quit her job as a lawyer and became a full-time musician. The Big Brother 25 houseguest has been performing since she was a child, and got her start in musical theater and madrigal groups, where she “first fell in love with harmonies.”
Bowie’s official website reveals that she is a house/techno/EDM DJ, producer, and vocalist. She’s a seasoned performer who has appeared around the world at many different clubs and festivals. Bowie’s recent hit song, “Busted,” which she co-wrote, produced, and sang, premiered on CBS’ S.W.A.T., and reached number 21 on the Billboard Club Charts. “Busted” also became Bowie’s first top ten hit in the United Kingdom reaching number 7. It was her fourth Top 20 song on the UK Club Charts.
Bowie hosts a weekly radio show on Insomniac Radio and Dash Radio every Tuesday “where she takes you on a deep and dirty journey through the latest house, melodic house & techno music whilst sprinkling in some old favorites along the way.” She also has a weekly radio show on Idobli Radio which is called “Babes Behind the Beats.” Along with her co-host Jess Bowen, she interviews women working in the music industry.
In addition to her law and music careers, in her Big Brother premiere night package, Bowie shared that she once played tennis “at a really high level.” She was 7th in Australia in the 18 and unders and then went on the professional circuit. She shared that she’s “super competitive. And that is absolutely gonna come in handy in the Big Brother house.”
