Below Deck’s Ben Willoughby Takes Camille’s Side In Alissa Drama

Below Deck’s Ben Willoughby Takes Camille’s Side In Alissa Drama

Below Deck‘s Ben Willoughby has made it clear that he is on Camille Lamb’s side of the drama between her and Alissa Humber. Camille has been rubbing Alissa the wrong way all season long with her lazy attitude and disrespectful tone. Camille has a hard time doing her job, and when Alissa or another crew member assigns her a task, she doesn’t react well. Alissa was so upset about Camille’s behavior that she alerted Captain Sandy Yawn, who clarified to Camille that if things didn’t change, she would have to fire her. Camille has also sparked up a romance with Ben while on the yacht.

Luckily, the Below Deck star has Ben by her side to defend her. Ben did an Instagram Q & A recently, and when a fan asked what he thought of the Camille and Alissa drama, he made it clear he doesn’t agree with Alissa.

“You’re gonna find out my feelings about Alissa very shortly,” Ben responded. “I think her getting a second stew position has very much gone to her head, and she’s using it against Camille, which is just savage, and it’s not okay.” In the same Q & A, Ben defended Camille from a fan who called her horrible, saying that she was only standing up for herself. He also said her behavior in the recent episode was warranted, especially toward Alissa.

Camille & Alissa Got Into Another Argument On Below Deck

In the recent Below Deck episode, Camille collected herself after a breakdown with help from Ben, who comforted her in the cabins. After that, she pulled herself together and started working harder than she had since the season premiered. Unfortunately, this didn’t last long, and when Alissa asked her if she had completed one of her tasks, Camille said she didn’t hear her on her radio. Alissa became frustrated with Camille again, and the episode ended with the two of them screaming at each other in front of the charter guests. When Sandy heard, she was not happy, and the episode ended on a cliffhanger.

It seems there may be more to the Camille and Alissa drama than has been revealed in the Below Deck season. So far, most of the crew has stayed out of the feud, but if Ben gets involved in the upcoming episodes, things will definitely get interesting. It makes sense that he’d be on Camille’s side since the two have a fling, and he can see the best in her the way Below Deck viewers can’t. He also probably got her side of the story and started to understand her perspective over Alissa’s, who he doesn’t interact with much.

However, Below Deck fans have been siding with Alissa and have a hard time understanding Camille’s attitude the way Ben does. It’s unlikely his Instagram Q & A will open anyone’s eyes as fans tend to make their opinions and stick with them until the stars give them a valid reason to change their minds. Though, when Ben gets involved, Alissa may start showing a different side of herself that will have fans resonating with Camille instead. This will be interesting since they’ve disliked her for most of the season. Hopefully, Captain Sandy will also see Camille’s perspective on the situation because if not, Camille is going to be in a lot of trouble.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
