Below Deck: Meet Charter Guests Beth Fegan & Tim Scott

The newest charter guests on Below Deck are Beth Fegan and Tim Scott. This power couple was long overdue for a break since they work tirelessly to advocate for those less fortunate.

Below Deck season 8 has gotten off to a rocky start since the crew lost a deckhand right off the bat, and the stew wanted to be outside in the fresh air. This season has a lot of firsts onboard, including the first female chef, the first trip without Kate Chastain, and the first time Eddie Lucas is a bosun on the show. However, one thing stays consistent, which is Captain Lee demanding perfection when the crew is out on the high seas.

The fifth episode showed a whole new side to the charter guests, proving that the show’s well-heeled clients can have refined tastes and manners. Beth and Tim are both prominent attorneys, according to their company website FeganScott, and they were very excited to see what Rachel Hargrove could cook up in the kitchen. When they aren’t on a yacht, they are fighting for what they believe in, as seen in Beth’s Twitter post below:

Tim and Beth both founded FeganScott in 2019 and have more than two decades of experience. Tim works as an advocate for individuals who have catastrophic injuries, defending them against corporate clients. Tim has also effectively prosecuted infringements of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act, the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act, and the Illinois Right of Publicity Act. Beth fights for victims of sexual abuse, discrimination, consumer fraud, and antitrust violations. Her most prominent case to date, where she was the lead counsel, was a class-action lawsuit against the disgraced movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein. Beth is also an author. She wrote “An Opportunity or Landmine: Promoting Gender Diversity From The Bench.”  Before starting her own firm with Tim, she launched Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro’s Chicago office, where she was the managing partner for 15 years.

Beth earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, She also taught there for a period of time and has been honored in Super Lawyers Magazine four years in a row. The charter guest’s Twitter shows an active participant in the #Metoo and #TimesUpNow movements. While she is a proud lawyer, she is also an even prouder mother, as she and Tim share five children. It is safe to say that Tim and Beth were the most educated and cultured guests that the Below Deck cast has served in a while. Izzy showed off her skills and nurturing side as she helped Shane through a difficult chore, proving she deserved to be on deck.

Below Deck airs Monday at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
