Below Deck: Get To Know Eddie Lucas’ Job, Instagram, Background & More

Luxury yacht fans are more excited than ever to get to know Below Deck‘s new-old bosun, Eddie Lucas. Eddie was an OG cast member who starred in the series’ first three seasons before taking a step away from yachting. But after five years out of the spotlight, Eddie is ready to return to the crew quarters of Captain Lee’s season eight yacht.

Eddie, who was once a greenhorn, is more than happy to be back on the outlandish ship. He and Captain Lee are sure to find solace in each other’s friendly faces while they get accustomed to the otherwise new crew. In the last five years, fans of the nautical-themed show have not seen Eddie. The reality star has taken some time to grow up, and he is now ready to be in charge of the crew. As bosun, Eddie is hoping to lead his exterior team through a great charter season.

Eddie only has a mere 85,000 followers on his Instagram at the moment, but he’s ready for the influx of fans that are about to come his way. Fans can find him under the name @eddielucas, where they will see many pictures of him on his motorcycle. Along with the bike, fans will also see a plethora of travel and beach pictures that match up perfectly with a yachtie’s typical social life. Although Eddie hasn’t been onscreen for a few years, he continued working on boats in his absence. According to his social media, Eddie recently earned his 1600-ton license and has been working on tugboats.

Eddie received his formal education at Green Mountain College where he got a degree in adventure education, which basically means he was able to go paddleboarding and scuba diving all in the name of a Bachelor’s degree. The women of Below Deck will also be happy to know that the bosun is living the single life, which should make for some great TV hookups. Fans will recall he had a fling with Rocky Dakota on his last season, but the two have not kept in touch. Since leaving the show in 2015, Eddie has worked in Maryland for Moran Towing Corporation, which is Baltimore-based and specializes in towing and marine transportation. Eddie is even on Cameo and offers his service for just about anything including “breaking up with a significant other.” The young man is only asking for $50 per video – seems fair enough.

Below Deck fans are very much looking forward to watching Eddie’s again and think he is up for the task of keeping his crew in line. Other than Captain Lee and himself, everyone else on the boat will be new, which should make for an exciting eighth season.
