Francesca Rubi is the new chief stew on season eight of Below Deck. The newest addition to the Bravo family is looking forward to getting her toes wet on this reality TV adventure. But with big shoes to fill after taking over for Kate Chastain, fans are curious to know more about this Australian yachtie.
Francesca is the new Kate for all intents and purposes, but with a few more tears than the prior chief stew. Fans can already tell she tries her best to be a complete perfectionist, and doesn’t love picking up the slack of her other two stews. The chief stew is running a tight ship and has not stopped demanding a flawless service, even when her entire crew is exhausted. Francesa surprised fans when she showed her two other stews how to use white gloves to control the dust and how to never leave watermarks on the silver, proving her skill as a superyacht stewardess.
Francesca has a little over 8,000 followers on her Instagram as she prepares to win over fans on the newest season. She hails from Australia and enjoys playing tennis and going to the beach. But Francesca is hiding some interesting facts up her sleeve that fans are just dying to know. The newest Bravo personality made it her mission to work in the Arctic. She collaborated with Polarx, who are leaders in everything cold and extreme. She hinted she recently worked on a BBC production and, from her polar bear pictures, many wonder if it was a conservation project. Naturally, there are also a lot of images of Francesa in her bikini alongside the tropical landscapes she has explored. Many fans already know she has 15 years of working on yachts under her belt and is fully equipped for almost any situation. She is not just an interior girl and has worked on every part of the boat. She previously worked as a purser, deckhand, and stewardess, all before earning her rank as a chief stew.
One question still remains to be answered: Will Francesca be able to replace Kate in every capacity? Captain Lee voiced that he was worried about not having Kate by his side since they had such a good working relationship. Even though we are only two charters into the season, once Francesca gets her footing many think she will be the perfect replacement for the fan-favorite. She is kind, pretty, and smart – the perfect combination to win over any charter guests and an old sea captain.
